Just in case if you need it, here is the full list of ingredients: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Partially hydrogenated vegetable shortenings (soybean and/or cottonseed oils), contains 2% or less of dextrose, leavening (yeast, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), salt, maple syrup, white vinegar, calcium propionate (as preservative), enzymes. No this is more like the " John Wayne cracker" of the Vietnam era c- rations . Thicker and firmer than saltine crackers . If u want hard tack you probly should make it your self . Many recipes on the net .
