Worked for my Maine Coon
This is the 4th product ive tried to treat my girl's fleas with. The other ones, I think it wasnt enough because she is a Maine Coon. Even though she's still a kitten technically, she is larger than most full grown cats already. I also tried a couple shampoos, and while they helped, only barely. I was at my wits end when a friend reccomend I look this one up. Sure enough, morning after application, I check her bedroom sleeping spots, and they are dying and falling off. So, it went to work right away. She is scratching less, and seems more relaxed. She has had no side effects, no salivating or vomiting or anything. Just dead fleas. So, worth the money. This will be my new flea medication to keep my girl happy and healthy and without irritation.

Excellent. Worth the money.
I have four cats … one very occasionally goes outside on a leash and one trip resulted in fleas that went unnoticed until all four had them.At first I tried Amazon’s version of flea treatment. It’s crap. Don’t buy it. Zero stars. Do not recommend. It only kills fleas, but not eggs or larvae, so it’s pointless. When I used this, after 24 hours I could no longer see any living fleas on any of my cats. It’s now been a month and only the cat that brought the fleas in has had the occasional flea (maybe one a week). I just gave them all another dose today and am hoping I don’t have to do it again.Note: while this does work, make sure you thoroughly wash or discard all pet bedding and wash your own bedding. Thoroughly clean carpets if you have them. I even threw away a cat tree that I just couldn’t clean well enough.

San Diego fleas are developing immunity
I've used Advantage on my cats for 20 years. It worked perfectly until this year. I live on the coast in San Diego. Several veterinarians have told me that the fleas in this area have developed a high tolerance to it, making it a bit less effective than before. As a result I've had to switch to prescription flea meds.I've not heard of this being a problem in other places throughout the U.S. it's worth asking people in your area, to find out what works the best.

This is the answer to flea control
Advantage is the best product out there for killing fleas and reducing their reproduction. After trying garlic pills after, flea sprays , horrible, smelling medication’s andhaving a commercial pest control come in ,I lost one dog to flea bites. He totally improved the quality of life for the dogs and eventually there was no fleas at all on a half acre property. So easy to use, once a month, doesn’t smell, doesn’t wash off and really isn’t expensive relative to what I spent on other treatments.

Excellent product and worth every penny!
I won't mention names. But, don't waste your time buying cheaper products, especially if your cats actively have fleas. I used a different product for several years. Evidently, my cats became immune to it. I ended up with a full on flea infestation in my home. It was located primarily in my hallway, master bedroom, and my bed.I purchased food grade DE powder. I followed the instructions. It worked well. Unfortunately, I have MCAS and the DE powder caused a severe reaction. I don't recommend that process to anyone. I purchased a different brand of flea & tick medication. I had to dose my 7 cats twice. It did not work completely.I put this flea and tick medicine on my cats two days ago. They come in nice little tubes. It's easy to apply. Each dose is individually packages. No scissors needs to open these large bulky contraptions with very little medication in them.I've deflead my home. This problem is just about resolve now. I highly recommend and will continue purchasing this brand only! Thank you!

Product always appears old works 3 weeks MAX
Everytime I order this the packaging is oldSometimes the package comes in, opened alreadyThere’s been times that nothing comes out when I do open the tube like it’s really oldIt only last on my cat about two weeks. I push it out to three weeks, but never has it last four weeks.
