Tarp Outdoor Shelter

Just got my blop tarp in the mail and set it up in my backyard. Wasn't sure what to expect since blop seems like a new company and I've never heard of them before seeing this. First impression is really great! Most tarps don't include poles but this one comes with two heavy duty steel ones. It goes up easily and seems to be really well made. The fabric feels really durable. Can't wait to take it along with us on our next adventure!

really didn't know if the blop tarp was necessary, but after seeing the quality of the tarp and various ways it could be used I am glad we purchased it. the ease of assembly, the bright color, the fact that it adds to the camping experience made it an even better purchase.

I do a lot of camping with Scouts, and I needed a dining fly type equipment so that when my son's Pack or Troop (I have sons in both) goes on a camping trip, I have something that we can use in case the campsite doesn't have anything (or doesn't have enough.I did A LOT of research, and from all of the reviews and such, I thought Blop would meet my needs.It works, sort of.The pictures, I think, are misleading. While it is true that it is very easy to set up, the sides of the BLOP fold down too close to the ground so that there is very little room to stand or maneuver under the BLOP. I even e-mailed BLOP on their website, asking if they have poles for the sides of the BLOP (instead of just two poles as the pics show) so the sides would extend out and give more room. They NEVER responded to my e-mail, a little disappointing.Overall, while I like the fact that the tent is easy to set up, take down, and small to store or transport, I would sacrifice those conveniences if the BLOP provided more room underneath it.

Have only set it up twice, but so far it is exactly what I was looking for. Set up is really simple. Should be perfect for rain and sun protection this summer!
