Not Your Mothers Double Take Dry Finish Texture Spray 6oz, 6 Oz

I stumbled upon Not Your Mother's in my daughter's bathroom heading to dinner. It's important to note, I have fresh new hair. My hair is grown back from chemotherapy so I have been without using any products for over 2 years. My hair is always been very long and very straight and I use the same products for many years. Didn't take many products to make my hair look wonderful. When I stumbled upon not your mother's, I was absolutely surprised at what it did to my hair. I was looking for a hairspray and came across this bottle and it was so much more. I did not know that it was mix of hairspray and dry shampoo. Try this and you will absolutely love it. I'm finding it harder and hard to come across so when I do I buy as many as I can. The cost is definitely worth the outcome. I love how it makes my hair feel it gives me control and volume without leaving my hair feeling locked in place or caked full of product.

Wow! I had almost no expectations for this product, I just bought it blindly. I have used Shu Umera Texture Wave for years now and I just assumed it would be way better than this. I was wrong!!! Texture Wave smells better but this product actually performs better. It gives volume and texture, while holding style overnight. It was such a pleasant surprise and I will now be switching to this texture spray over the Shu one.

The finish spray works nice, easy to use, and adds just the right amount of texture to boost your hair style. Doesn’t bother my scalp and seems to last a long time as well. Scent is OK but is a little strong for me so that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Would order again.

I have very thin, fine hair and when I'm just blowing out or straightening it, my usual voluminous mousse and root lifter are sufficient... If I feel like a need a little more body, I can always spray a little bit of this into my roots and I get that extra lift. What I find this best for is when I want to curl, wave or create a nice updo. In the past, I couldn't get my hair to hold a curl to save my life and I didn't have enough volume to create a decent burn or twist. Then I found this product. I usually buy in the store but it was out of stock and I found the price to be very fair in Amazon. When I'm done blow drying my hair, I spray throughout my hair concentrating at the roots and it gives my hair the grip to hold my curls/waves for the day with a little help of a light hairspray. A little spritz of glossing spray and I'm left with, healthy, bouncy beautiful curls that don't fall out immediately. I've never had that before finding this product. It also performs miracles when I want to do a top knot, twist, or messy bun. It not only gives it the grip needed to be pulled up but once I have the hair band in, I spray the hair that will be shaped into a bun, tease it a little bit and it literally looks like I have twice the amount of hair that I do. I fell in love with this the first time I ever used it and have been buying it since. It allows me to do so many different styles with my hair that I spent years trying to do. I would recommend this to anybody looking for some volume and texture.

Great product! It’s light and gives texture plus volume. However go outside with it because the chemically smelling fragrance strongly lingers

I can't say enough great things about this product. It's perfect for my fine hair. It's not a dry shampoo. It's not a hairspray. It's something in the middle. It gives my hair this perfect amount of texture, volume and flexibility. If I could only put one product in my hair this would be it. It smells great too! My only problem is that they stopped selling it at the Walgreens near me which is why I order online. I was so worried they discontinued it.

I love this stuff! I like Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast, but it is so expensive. This is a great alternative to it, so much cheaper. I use it when I am done with blow drying and flat-ironing if I am going to do that. When I am ready to do my final hair-spraying, first I use this. I spray this in the root area, and fluff my hair up. (Be sure to SHAKE WELL, and shake as you use. If you don't shake, it sprays out white on your hair, like dry shampoo.) It adds volume and fullness. Also, if you really clean hair and you need some grip to do an updo or other style, this really helps with that. I have thick but fine hair. My hair falls flat quickly. This helps a lot. I can't find it in any stores any more. Glad to be able to buy it here on Amazon.

Love this stuff! I have naturally fine hair that can look flat by the end of the day. I spray some of this and it gives me a great volume and texture. It gives a little effect like dry shampoo & hairspray, but without weighing down the hair. Love the texture and body it gives me when I curl my hair. Though lately I've discovered Not Your Mother's Sea Salt spray works even better with my particular type of hair, takes the natural curl and enhances the volume. I love them both!
