Edit: Mine lasted a year but has started peeling off the top layer around the screws for the handle. Fried eggs now stick to it as someone else has mentioned but it used to wash off fine. Will probably get another one but one year isn’t very long lastingDoes have a scent when you first use it that goes away with use but not as bad as the regular non stick PFA pans. Those pans leave a chemical smell in my nose & throat whereas this one is much more subtle. Feel a lot better using this. Doesn’t stink up my kitchen every time with chemical scent like other pans & it’s now scent less & have used it a fair bit with silicone utensils. Fairly easy to clean & non stick with a little oil or butter as a base layer otherwise food can stick a little & I’d rather not risk having to scrub bits of food off & damage the coating so a little oil is fine for me

Not only do I love the colour material and weight (feels substantial, and looks like it can take some punishment.I have used twice so far and very impressed with heat distribution. It takes a little time to get hot, but not suprising if it is distributing the heat well, but when it gets going its great, the thick base helps to hold the heat when you add ingredients so you dont get a sudden drop of temperature. Handle stays cool. The non-stick surface does what you would expect. I would recommend and buy again

Started so promisingly. Really impressive. But then, as mentioned by many other recent reviews, the non stick nature of the pan completely failed after around 2 months. I have used it perhaps 10 times as I'm not a regular fryer. The product support link from my order in Amazon opens an error page (it says “oops”) in Blue Diamond's US website and there is no other detail except a badge to say 90 day returns! After a brief circular grapple with the Amazon chat robot, I got through to a real person within a couple of minutes. Return organised quickly and credit to my account. Cannot fault Amazon support, but the product doesn't do what it's supposed to do and kick myself for not spotting the number of negative reviews for the same issue.

So far so good, non-stick easy to clean.

The larger of the two pans I bought, is massive ...too big really for the ring on our ceramic hob ...but we use it anyway. The small one gets used a lot more.They feel solid and well made after a couple of years use.The colour is great and they wash well.I like to use a bit of oil when frying but they remain nonstick without oil so long as you keep the temperature low.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I got this in 2020 - but it has got scratched. No burns - still slippery. I need a new one - but price has trebled!I use Induction. Those who turn the heat up to max on gas - that's stupid!

The handle overheats!A beautiful frying pan, perfect for its non-stick quality, great finish and colour, spoilt by the handle set too low on the base... so that, how ever low the gas, the handle inevitably heats up.This excellent frying pan would be much better for an electric hob. It is a good weight and perfect for slow gentle sauteeing. Over all a good product, but only for an electric hob

I bought 2 blue diamond pans before Christmas and they have seen plenty of use.They are reasonably light to use and have good handles. I cook all kinds of things in them - usually fish or meat in the smaller one and veggies or rice etc. in the larger one. Both have great nonstick properties - the equal of my Circulon pans - and it is so far undamaged. I wish it was extended to the outside though, because that is a building up quite a coating of hard to remove cooking residue, especially on the bottom. I expect that would come off if I put them in the dishwasher every time but the instructions say they will last longer if you don't.The prices are very variable, so monitor and buy when they are at their cheapest. Then they are great value.
