GarminPT10 Dog Device Red Collar (Pro 70/Pro 550)

Garmin makes great products and this is no different. We like being able to warn the pups about barking with the beep. Very easy to sync with the remote we already have. It's a bit pricey, but a Garmin bark collar alone is $130 so for a little bit more money this was worth it. We've never had an issue with range as long as the battery is charged. The battery also lasts very long so no concerns there.

My main reason for buying this product was to keep my dog from barking incessantly all day long. I have neighbors who work in hospitals and fire departments that sleep during the day. For anybody that thinks this is cruel in anyway consider the fact that without this my dog would have to sit inside in his kennel all day. Instead, he gets to run around the yard and play all he wants to. I like the fact that when you turn it off, it tells you how many times it stopped the barking. Almost like a tattletale lol I haven’t used the training yet but I’m sure as good as this is. It will be fine. The collar is thin and the piece will twist so I got a different collar. That’s wider. This has changed the game in our dogs’ training. We never use the shock feature unless they’re putting themselves in danger, but they respond promptly to the beeping and vibrating settings. We use this instead of a fence in our yard, and we’ve been able to train the dogs to know where their boundaries are. It only took about a week for them to learn with these collars! And we LOVE that they can be on the same remote and we can switch between them so quickly.

Garmin is the best quality e collar out there. Battery lasts a very long time, I rarely have to charge the collar.

Works well. Syncs easily with our system. Have yet to see how the "bark" deterrent works. My little one is still persistently barking from our windows at anyone who walks down the sidewalk.The only thing I see that might be an issue is the collar material. We had an older collar made of a thicker, more durable seeming plastic. The attachments for the unit broke before that collar ever showed signs of wear (also Tritronics before they were bought by Garmin).

The Garmin Sport PRO system I bought had one remote unit and one rechargeable collar included. The system works great, has a vibration feature, a tone feature, a shock feature, an optional bark limiter and a light which shines on the ground in front of your dog. The light helps the dog to see in the dark and lets you know where they are. The remote has a switch to control up to four different collars. I recently got a second dog and bought this collar to add to the remote to control my second dog. The collar comes with it's own charger and pairs perfectly with the Sport PRO remote. Great as an add on for an additional dog, or as a replacement for a lost or damaged collar.
