Perfect for cutting craft supplies
I used these for a class and it was very helpful to have lots of refills. They work great to cut mat board and foam core. You get a lot of blades for a great price

Very good item to have, great price
I recently needed new blades so I purchased a set of 3 for $4.99 at my local craft store. I needed the blades immediately, so I bought them and decided I would look online to see prices for the future. I found this set of legitimate x-acto brand 40 blades for around 10 bucks. I needed replacement blades that day, so I don't regret buying them. However, I will never purchase blades from a craft store again. Amazon has so many listings that include a lot more blades at a much lower cost. I've got 40 of them now. They're up to par with the quality I expect from x-acto brand. I have many, many handles (I like being able to easily find one without digging around my other craft tools, and some of them are designated for specific crafts and are not used for anything else) from different generic brands and they all have x-acto blades now. The generic ones aren't as sharp, and they only stay sharp for a fraction of the time. This was a great purchase and the next time I need to replace blades (hopefully not for a while), I will purchase this set again. They came sealed, oiled, and protected in a durable little cardboard box. I wasn't sure what I would do with the blades once I opened them but they stay right in their box and I am not worried about getting cut on a loose blade. They're all nicely contained. The sharpness and quality is just as high as blades sold individually or in smaller quantities. The price might be lower, but the quality is not. These things stay sharp for a while. I use them frequently and these blades are as good as new after weeks, even months, of use.

Description is wrong - 40 count pack has no safety dispenser
I was specifically looking for a pack of replacement blades that has the safety dispenser/disposal box -- better than needing a separate sharps container for spent blades (not to mention much easier and safer to store/get new blades out). The description for the 40 count pack mentions it, and the pictures make it hard to figure out, so I ordered them.No safety dispenser, just a box of 40 blades, packed such that you'd better be damn careful opening them (wrapped in plastic and paper inside a tiny box).Someone needs to update the listing description to be clear that the 15 ct pack has the dispenser and the 40 count pack does NOT.They're Xacto blades -- they work. 5 stars for the blades. 0 stars for the packaging/garbage description.

No.1 " Go To " blades
Have used these for many years. Dependable and they are consistently razor sharp.A strop can easily crisp up the edge prolonging the use factor.

OEM are the best
The best #11 blades.

Nice sharp blades. Just wish they were a little cheaper. Last longer than some cheaper brands.
Good quality blades, nice and sharp.Do wish they stayed sharp a little longer, but to be honest they last better than most of the cheaper brands I've tried. They are also pretty pricey for what they are, but they do occasionally go on sale.

Nice and sharp. Trust these, not the imitations.
I bought a knockoff, only to find they were duller than even a used OEM X-ACTO #11 blade. So, I returned them and got the X-ACTO brand ones. These are sharp. They're worth paying for.

Best Craft Blade for Paper Projects
THese X-Acto #11 blades are my preferred blades for paper crafting. I build paper-based architectural models, and the precision cutting of pieces for assembly is essential, and these blades rarely disappoint. They aren't cheap, but they are not overpriced, either, and their manufacturing quality, durability, and precision make them easily worth the price. I would not opt for a cheaper blade from a different manufacturer. These are made of high quality steel, are coated with fine machine oil so that no oxidization occurs during storage, and are sharp, sharp, sharp. Five stars for hobbyist and crating uses.Note:These are NOT toys. I'm not sure why the word "toy" is used in association with this tool, which is NOT for use by children. They are too sharp and potentially unsafe for use by anyone who is not a trained adult.Architectural Models I Have Used These On:Reims Cathedral: Scale Architectural Paper Model (Cathédrale de Reims English, French, German, Spanish and Italian Edition)Notre-Dame de Paris (Architecture et Modelisme)Chartres Cathedral: Scale Architectual Paper ModelSchreiber-Bogen Cologne Cathedral Card Model
