Not very bright. Seems more like 900,000 CP to me.

Impossible to recharge this item,unless you have an extension cord w/prong openings at the very end..Nice bright light,but meh...dosent really last very long...Its kind of a silly item...

This unit was bought because I needed a smaller form factor light to use in the car. My town has a volunteer group that does search and rescue and traffic management. Many times we are in the dark with no other lights than what we bring. My goal was to buy some inexpensive but still functional items that I could test out and then issue out to other people while keeping the cost down.The light is firmly built with a nice clip on top to hang the light from the coat hanger in your car. You know that little lever/knob in the ceiling that only gets used a few times in the life of your car. It hangs nicely on there.I waited until dark and flashed the light around the neighborhood. The beam pattern is not circular. Its more narrow and tall. It still worked very well but there wasn't as much spill over light coming from it. I expected more light seepage around the light and less in the center point. Not really a big deal but you can tell this is a low end light. Bigger reflectors are definitely better.Yes it will light up the area but overall it is just an average light. Good for the price of course. If you just want a backup light for emergency and might not use it very often this will work like a charm.I kind of like the shock and awe of having a blazing monster in my hand so I think I will pass this off to my wife's car kit and we will keep it for the rare emergancys. For more day to day usage I think I will spend a bit more and try again.Recommendation..... Solid little light that is good for the price but over all not what I was looking for.Would make a good light for a gift because it works and the price is right. Price is perfect for the average performance.Edit..... Forgot to mention. Due to the current influx of LED products I am leaning towards LED spot lights. The LED ones have a nice super white light the they emit and the amperage is lower. The beam is yellow and is basically 1990's technology. Not a super fair comparison of course because LED's cost more but you might want to consider looking at LED if cost is not an option for you. I am not sad at all on this purchase. I got a good product for a good price its just not what I was looking for and I didn't mind spending the few bucks just to see what it was.

It satisfied my expectations. Have to watch where you rest it, as it gets really hot and could scorch carpet.

I am using these on a fleet of boats. The best part about these spotlights is that they have a 10 ft. cord. This comes in very handy! Also the pricing and shipping was great!

This product was a piece of Junk. I use plug in spot lights for duck hunting. I have had several over a lifetime and they all worked well and lasted many years.I got about two duck hunts out of this junk before it burned out. And when it did work it was pitiful piece of cheap junk. If you need a spot light go get a blue max there bulky and big but last for years. I bought this one because it was small and compact now it's in the trash.

Not the best spotlight, but not the worst. Local store was out and we needed one in a bind. Not very bright and cant see very far with it, but it does the job. Still going to need to purchase another one, but for the price it will work for now
