GPW German Military Titanium Fieldwatch Automatic Movement. 200M W/R. Domed Sapphire Crystal.

One of the best field watches I've had! I always bought cheap $20 digital watches for bad weather or environment days. Then I decided to buy this last year for work in general. Definitely within AR 670-1 with the green NATO strap. The gunmetal matte finish on the watch is hard to spot even on sunny days so it's definitely a must for military personnel. Watch never stopped, nor did it ever break so far other than a few cosmetic scratches here and there. Accurate timepiece worth keeping!

You don't need a shaker to wind this watch when you are not wearing it!. It keeps running for days after you wear it. Band is wide but comfortable. Kind of large but looks good. Good visibility at night. I plan on wearing this watch for the next 20 years.

I like how it winds both manual and automatic. Keeps great time and really lights up at night. I've been working outdoors with it on, and the crystal dome has taken some blows with not issues. Has a screw down hand knob - so I would think it would hold up to minor water exposure as well. Just a great German Watch!

This is the most accurate timekeeper of four automatic watches that I own, as delivered with no adjustment. The case is not too thick, therefore easy to wear with a long-sleeved dress shirt. The band is soft and comfortable. The face is very attractive and easy to read. Overall a great value.

I love the feel, I love the hard Chrystal, I love the Titanium weight, I love the accuracy of the time mechanism but I hate the second hand. It is not like the one in the picture. You know, like the one I thought I was buying. I spent hours of days searching and shopping for the right watch, I spent more time on the research and buying of this watch than any of the cars I have purchased in my lifetime, The watch I received has the second hand with a much bigger opposite end from the pointer needle. It is a bright white and just as wide if not wider and it is almost half as long as the minute hand. With a glance at the watch to check the time, the big wide white end of the second hand stands out as a hour hand. This is not a problem in the dark because the second hand does not glow. I hope I get use to it but for right now it is aggravating to have to take the time to make sure I am seeing the correct time. I have to consciously make myself do a double take and discard what originally pops out as the time and look for the round less visible hour pointer. Look at the picture of the watch and the pointer of the second hand is on the 7(seven) the opposite end of that hand is pointing towards the 1(one), on my watch the second hand pointing toward the 1(one) reaches the (W) and is a bright white and is just as wide as the minute hand pointing to the 2(two). At first glance, I read this as ten minutes after one. I would love to get a note from ARCTOS saying they will replace the second hand with something less competitive to the hour hand, something in accordance with the picture. That would be a perfect watch with 5 stars, but like it is, I have to give it 2 stars.

Just received this, to be honest after the buying price I had to pay import charges of £65. I could have bought direct from GPW even cheaper. A little unhappy with that, anyways onto the watch itself, this watch is 42mm, water to 200m, this is a big watch, and a beast, the quality is good and will now be my every day piece.
