Pump of Pumps
Swift Tech has been my pumps of choice for my water cooled computer rigs for the last 10 years. They are made to last and with all the neat reservoirs made by Danger Den (Monsoon My personal Favorite), Koolance, Bitspower and others make these pumps very versatile. I love them. They provide excellent PSI with a substantial head pressure.I will say this beware of Danger Den's LED set up for the Moonsoon it sucks! you have to water proof it it before you intall it and add water and do not use any of their chrome plated fitting unless you want chrome ruining your pumps and blocks.

Worked great for two years
Worked great for two years. Two years almost to the day! All of a sudden it is making a horrible grinding sound. Box says its reliable for 5 years, yet the warranty period from the manufacturer is only 12 months. I'm three years short! I'm only cooling the CPU, so it isn't being pushed hard at all. If the box advertises its good for 5 years, it should be covered for five years. Now I have to buy a new pump only 2 years in.

not too sure.
Well it's been running fine for just over a year now... however lately it struggles initially to get the water flowing. Sometimes it'll take a minute before the pump actually kicks in.Can't be sure what's wrong with it until I take it apart and investigate further. If it ends up being a mechanical issue, I will change this to a 2* as I expected ~5 years not a little over 1 year.** update **It did this for a month or so and now it seems to be working fine again. Raised to 4*

All show, no flow
I have had 2 other Swiftech pumps. The first (MCP350) I bought is still running. I bought that about 8 years ago...I think. A pump from another company I got at bargain but was a whole kit with electronic gauges, machined aluminum and what not died after 2 years; the first Swiftech replaced that. So it was a no brainer when I wanted to make another water cooled machine to chose another Swiftech pump. I bought an MCP355. That mostly worked fine for a couple years. Occasionally, it would have trouble starting, so I reduced the height of the lift to under 2 feet. And it must have some brain where it turns off for a few seconds and then starts again. But it will quit trying too, after maybe 5 tries. One day it just would not do a dang thing. I figured its brain had a stroke. So I bought this thing. Put it in the loop. Squat. Piece of junk. Looks all big and burly, has no push. It can't move the water. I hear it spinning, but the water goes nowhere. I bought 10 feet of new copper tubing (the copper stuff is in a 55 gallon drum outside my window on bricks and has regular plastic tubing everywhere else) and replaced the old stuff that really did not look too bad in the inside, thinking maybe there was just enough oxides in the tubing to make it hard to push the water. Pristine tubing now. No luck...this is crap. Less than 2 feet height difference, but it has some length to it, maybe 20 feet in all. The first one is doing the same job (well a little more), pushing the water 20 feet in length, and about 3 feet in height. And like I said, that old pump has been doing that with no problems, no hiccup starts. It just works. So I bought a submersible fountain pump from Harbor Freight at less than half the cost. Absolutely no problem pushing the water. Too much push actually. I had to move to pipe clamps rather than zip ties, and heavier plastic tubing. But annoyingly I have another tank taking up space in my room to hold the submersible pump, and it vibrates the floor. I have no idea how long it will last. Too bad Swiftech stopped making decent pumps. Too little competition in computer cooling pumps, with better air cooling and little closed systems?

Bid azz pump
this pump is Hugh i mean 4.5 inches tall just got it today and havent put it through the paces yet just make sure you have plenty of room in your case too mount this pump i mounted mine sideways in a haf xb evo on the bottom because it wouldnt mount up right also worth mention this pump does not have standard g1/4 threads it just has 3/4od x 1/2id barbs so you might save some money on your compression fittings there but you can get a d5 pump top for it but dont know if it voids warranty to change it but looks good out of the box.

Well worth the money.
Great pump. Wouldn't have anything else. Solid, well made and powerful. The D5 used to be an industrial pump, and swiftech has done a great job bringing it to custum pc builders. Don't worry about your tubing size, just stretch it with pluyers after soaking in boiling water and it will fit. then use a ziptie or something to seal it off. I had this pump cool 2 machines (3 vidiocards + cpus) and using an external radiator. It had to push water over 40ft of tubing.

Pump may be refurb or used if purchased from TITANRIG
I agree with another reviewer here that the pumps that TITANRIG are sending via Amazon are most likely refurb (or used) pumps sold as new. I've bought two pumps from them so far. Both make noise that is louder than what I've come to expect from a Swiftech pump and one died recently (8 months after installing it). The previous pumps that I had purchased from Swiftech ran quietly for 2+ years without issue.

Works pretty well
I used this to replace an earlier version on my sailboat to pump water through my refrigerator/freezer. It is a good design but a bit louder than I would expect. Probably because it is small. I plan to replace it with a pump specifically made for that purpose. The earlier model only had two wires. This has three. No problem not using the extra.
