Already put through the paces. Excellent construction and beautiful cocobolo handle that gets better with use and some linseed oil. Medium to large blade, Scandinavian grind perfect for an all around performer. It has held the edge well despite some medium usage. The jimp on the spine though unusual (hump), gives you versatility on the way you do your jimping, allowing you to exert some backward or forward traction without undue mangling of your thumb. A beautifully crafted sheath with multi position carry options (I love horizontal carry on my back), very good water stone and fire steel, make they package complete.The knife has a good, heavy weight to it and has great balance.Recommended without reservations

is a high quality knife I removed the grindstone and I put a leatherman wigman multitool fits perfectly in the compartment, I also put a small flashlight, bring a flint, is ready for survival all in one package, I'm very happy, highly recommended

This is pretty raw. Minor Inconsistencies. Not very sharp. Sheath is ok. Exactly what I was expecting. Surprisingly balanced. I think I like that it’s not polished. Makes me want to use it. Not good for quick release. You’ll pull it out and slice the fastening strap off in no time. The handle is quite comfortable.I’ve got a couple higher end and much lighter blades, but this is actually kind of fun. Time will tell whether it was worth $140. I have a feeling it will be.

I really love the weight and feel of this blade, it is well balanced and has a very sturdy build from top to bottom, I love the handle, and the figure grips on the top and bottom of the blade, I put in through the test this weekend in the mountains, was by my side the whole trip, It is heavy enough to chop wood almost like a hatchet, whittles wood good enough but is very bulky for any detail work, blade is not near as sharp out of the box as I would expect for the price you pay for it and the other then the price the only other reason I didn't give it a 5 star. The leather sheath is very well made, and the fire starter and stone are good enough for back up but would recommend others products as a primary source. Shipping was fast and on time thank you for that or it would have missed its trip this round.

As other posts I’ve seen, the knife came from warehouse dull. A few hours later, I have a razors edge. Great knife, very substantial with a handle that gives plenty of purchase. I am replacing the stone with Dan’s Arkansas Pocket stones. I think both medium & fine will both fit together, in the pouch.

Made in Spain and it shows, wow. What a knife! It's a small beast, prefect for everything. From the knife to the sheath, for $100 it's a steal. Metal and Leather are High End and the workmanship is perfect!

Big awesome knife, great for camping or your bug out bag

This knife has it all, one of the edges I’ve seen on a mass manufactured knife. The seath is well made so it should provide excellent service for man years.

Ich verwende dieses Messer nun seit eineinhalb Jahren und noch keines hat mich so überzeugt wie dieses. Es macht einfach alles mit. Hochwertiger Stahl, hochwertige Lederscheide, edler, gut verarbeiteter Holzgriff. Ich habe das Messer nicht geschont. Auf keinen Fall!! Ich will mich auf mein Werkzeug verlassen können. Und das kann ich. Ich habe damit Unterstände gebaut, unendlich viel Feuerholz gespalten, ja sogar einen Baum gefällt. Es ist ein grobes Arbeitstier das ich auf jeder Tour dabei habe. Durch die geschwungene Form ist es sehr Kopflastig, was das Hacken erheblich erleichtert. Beim besten Willen kann ich manch negatives Urteil nicht verstehen. Man muß sich halt im klaren sein, daß es kein Kinderschnitzmesser ist. Es lässt sich praktisch und sicher am Rucksack befestigen oder es hängt an meiner Seite. Darum habe ich auch den Feuerstahl entfernt, denn durch dichtes Gestrüpp und dergleichen bleibt man leicht hängen. Habe ihn aber trotzdem immer dabei denn er funktioniert tadellos. Auch der Wetzstein ist in Ordnung (wenn man die richtige Technik anwendet). Nach den unzähligen Arbeiten die ich mit dem Messer durchgeführt habe, musste ich es erst einmal nachschärfen. Selbst das wäre noch nicht nötig gewesen denn Rasiermesserscharf muss ein Bushcraftmesser nicht sein. Auf jedenfall wird es mich ( und meine Kinder) überleben und wird von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben. (Haha)

E' il mio primo coltello della Jeo-Tec e devo dire che mi ha subito rimasto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Si nota da subito la gran lavorazione, il design un pò brutale e la lama lavorata molto attentamente. Curve e peso adatto ad ogni situazione. Batoning o Chopping và un amore e se la cava molto bene anche per rifiniture, trucioli nonostante la grandezza della lama. Prodotto di qualità fornito con fodero in pelle, un acciarino completo di corda ed all'interno, in un taschino, una gran bella pietra grana 700 per affilare la lama.

Direi un Bel bestione da lavoro stupefacente massiccio anche troppo da usare con la testa attenzione non è un giocattolo,per chi va per boschi è l'ideale con facilità potrà tagliare anche della legna di dimensioni importanti ,superiore alle aspettative la lama è già ben affilata per l'uso che serve un po pesante ma d'altronde è fatto per servire anche a lavori Tosti. Il fodero e fatto molto bene in pelle il mio esemplare è Nero il tutto viene fornito in aggiunta di acciarino e una pietra per affillare la lama in situazioni di emergenza insomma un bel attrezzo da lavoro niente da dire ,ottimo anche per chi fa collezione un bel pezzo..

Partiamo dalla confezione che anticipa la qualità del prodotto, rispetto ad un coltello che ho acquistato recentemente sempre prodotto in Spagna e arrivato in una bustina di plastica questo è su un altro livello. Bello,massiccio,grosso,appena lo tiri fuori dalla fondina e lo impugni, ti rendi conto della bontà del coltello. Ottima e bilanciata la presa, praticamente lo senti bene in mano. Unico difetto se così si può dire è la fondina, perché non sembra di vero cuoio ma di cartone pressato. Mi riservo di correggere la recensione dopo che lo avrò usato per un po’ di tempo.

Davvero soddisfatto,rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale, ovviamente non vi troverete in mano il miglior coltello al mondo,anche perché il costo dovrebbe sfiorare i 500 euro altrimenti, mq credetemi dà molte soddisfazioni. Arrivato molto affilato,dà la sensazione di avere un carro armato in mano,molto robusto, ben bilanciato.
