Used in a shower water cooler.
Here in Texas our ground water come out of the tap at 68 F in the summertime. My wife asked for a “cold shower” button because she didn’t want to take up the space in our house with a cold plunge, but she read it helps with weight loss and depression. So I combined this with a beverage cooler, an aquarium chiller, an air switch and some aquarium pumps for instant cold shower. I wrapped this in pipe wrap insulation to keep cold losses down. Works great!

Couldn't be happier!
We installed the 20 plate exchanger on our hot water heater. Our wood boiler hearts the cold water supply line to the water heater providing us with an endless supply of hot water during the winter months.This addition has saved us significantly on our home electric bill and will pay for itself in just a couple of years.Well worth the investment.

Very good
Very good product, was very easy to install. NPT fittings sealed well with no leaks heats my domestic water extremely fast and efficiently. My only complaint would be that it did not come with mounting straps, I have PEX tubing that doesn’t support the weight of plate exchange without out it being mounted

Buy with confidence well built unit
This thing took a licking on delivery, it was dinged up a bit. The packaging from the company saved it but the over sized box Amazon put it in caused a loose situation.. Not good. The exchanger however came through it just fine no leeks and heat's as it should.

Allows both side to mix in under 3 months
Lasted less than 3 months. Water from the indoor side at 15psi blew through to the outdoor unpressurized side a few days short of 3 months service. Finding the company or warrantee support isn't easy, I haven't found contact info yet
