4 1/2 Stars
4 1/2 Stars. I wrote an epic novel about this thing so if you want the quick and dirty explanation here it is: Despite a few minor quirks and being expensive, this console is one of, if not the best center console you can get for the Crown Victoria police interceptor with the police bucket seats, model years '98-'11. My vehicle is a 2011 Crown Victoria police interceptor. It's a great looking console and it fits perfectly in between the bucket seats. The fit is firm and won't move but still easy to slide back and forth or take off.No mounting is necessary even though they include a bracket in the packaging. My car came with a flat floor mounting bracket for police equipment in between the front seats so the console is stable and flush against the floor bracket. I'm sure if you didn't have a fancy bracket it would fit just fine.As for color choice my interior is tan with brown steering wheel and dash so the gray turned out the best match, with black not really matching as well and brown spice not matching at all. It was hard to tell the exact colors in the pictures online so I ordered all 3 colors and tried them myself. The black is actually more like a really dark grey and would look perfect for the black interior in the Crown Vic. If you have the gray interior in a Crown Vic the gray console is a match made in heaven with black also matching great. If they made a tan version of this console with black cupholders I would be ecstatic.I looked at the cheap walmart consoles and the overpriced walmart console with the vinyl arm rest before I bought this one and the armrest on this rampage is super comfortable because it's a large flat area. The walmart console armrest is much too small in my opinion. As far as value this console is pretty expensive for what it is but it's the one I wanted so I bit the bullet and bought it. I feel like if I dropped this thing from 10 feet in the air it would break into a million pieces because it has a plywood-like structure. There is also unfinished wood and fabric seams hidden under the easily-removable cupholders, which is also a very good hiding spot for "valuables".CD's fit a little tight in the removable CD holder cup thing that comes inside the console, and the removable cooler is a cool option. The lock and key is not heavy duty but does the job temporarily if someone tries to break into the console. The key is not always smooth when locking/unlocking it so you might have to wiggle and jiggle the key a little bit.Why not 5 stars? A few reasons: the fabric around a couple of the corners is not perfectly flat against the surface and creates a small wrinkle in the fabric. The rest of the console does not have this issue. Not a big deal but for almost a hundred dollars is it too much to ask to get it perfectly seamless? Another reason is the expensive price. This thing should sell for 60 dollars tops not $85 or whatever it is. But despite all those small issues this console is one of the best you can get for the Crown Vic. If you made it this far I commend you, thanks

Fits a crown victoria police interceptor
I just received my center console today and I'm very pleased with it. I have a 2008 ford crown victoria police interceptor. All of them don't come with a center console due to the agency using the space for other equipment. I had another console which I purchased on Amazon (I added a pic of it). At the time I was looking for something that fit my budget and it was under $40. The whole console is made of plastic and it's not a bad console for the price. I should've paid a little more to get the rampage console. I would suggest getting the rampage. The $40 console (I believe made by TSI) lacks an arm rest and didn't sit high enough to lay my arm on it. The rampage has a pretty nice arm rest that pretty soft. Overall the rampage has a lot of storage space on the inside. The console comes with a cd holder and a 6 pack beverage holder. The cup holders are pretty nice and could hold most beverages. My coffee mug and a Gatorade bottle fit pretty nice in it. The only thing I wish the rampage could've come with was an extra outside compartment that I could rest my phone in or hold some pens as well as in the back. The TSI had that between the lock on the sliding door and the front cup holders as well in the rear under the cup holders. I also wish they could've had some type of leather option to match the interior leather seats in my car, but it's not a big deal. It looks better than the plastic console. I like that the locking arm rest lifts up as oppose to the TSI which had a sliding locking door (which gets stuck at times). Just be careful if you have drinks in the rear when opening the arm rest cause the rear cup holders are attached to the arm rest. The rampage console was built for some type of jeep but if you have a ford crown victoria police interceptor from early 2000s - 2011, it will fit. It does come with a mounting bracket but I'm not sure if it will work. I didn't use the mounting bracket. The console sits snug in between my front seats and doesn't move around . I definitely give this product a 5 star and recommend this console. The TSI console isn't a bad console for half the price but the rampage is much better and is worth the extra cost.

98 Wrangler TJ
Yes, this will fit in a 1998 TJ if you have some imaginative mechanical chops.Love my jeep but have always been irritated by the lack of a center console, and this one fit my basic requirements: two lockable storage boxes and a bit of padding for my elbow.Yes, it's cheaply made with what I surmise is particle board covered with plastic and some padding, but its simplicity is the key. Will it be waterproof?Oh hell no, maybe splash proof. Is it strong? How strong does it need to be? I won't be standing on it.Is it secure? It wouldn't stand up to some prying with a screwdriver, but it'll work fine for the smash, grab and run crowd.Ah, but what about my emergency brake? There's the engineering challenge.I normally don't use it at all, I mean, who drifts in a jeep?So I designed a light steel frame with 3" legs on the front and a nylon webbing hinge on the back in case I actually need to use it. I can lift it up from the front and access the e brake. In normal driving the inner edge of the front seats hold it in place just fine with friction. So I'm a happy camper with a nice spot to keep my solar charger, my jumpstart battery kit (no more jumper cables for me!) and a can of bear spray in the back compartment. The front compartment has a little snap in wallet of sorts for my registration and insurance, and plenty of room for all the crap that I like within arm's reach. So I gave it 4 stars. It would have been 5 but I had to engineer it to the finish line.
