A True Android Computer / Media Streamer / Media Server / Live TV Streamer / ETC...ETC...ETC...
This little box is a complete computer. It works awesome! It is even better if you get a mini 2.4ghz wireless keyboard for it. It makes it very very useful having a keyboard. I find myself surfing the net from it for hours. The box has many functions. It can work as a media server, has live streaming TV, play games, and has Google Play so you have full access to all the apps in Android store. The launchers that come with it are good, but I ended up installing another launcher for the front-end. I installed Handy Smart TV launcher, it is free, made it even better. Also to my fellow Android geeks in the world, the box comes rooted.I have 2 Roku's, but I like this box better, mainly because it can do all the streaming stuff that Roku does, but it is a full Android computer. In fact, you can hook usb keyboard/mouse to it if you want. It also has bluetooth, you can use bluetooth keyboard and mouse. But, I found that the Rii i8+ Mini 2.4GHz Wireless 2.4G Touchpad Keyboard with Mouse works the best with the unit. Also, might think about getting an actual bluetooth or wireless gamepad for all the Android games. It works so good as a computer, I have thought about using it on trips in hotel room. Just bring a HDMI, keyboard and mouse, you are in there. I installed Kingsoft Office Suite, Firefox, and other tools I use on my Android tablet.I suggest this to any geek and person who wants to experience a Android TV/Computer.The box does tons of things, so much more than I expected! It is awesome!

O.K. as a cable box. WIFI is very weak.
UPDATE!!I am leaving the my review at 3 stars however this box does have a major flaw. After having little success with my MOGA Pro wireless gaming controller, I decided to test other bluetooth devices. This is where I confirmed the flaw. The range of my other bluetooth devices was also the same (limited to 4 or 5 feet) away from this device. I also found it strange that I was never able to see any of my neighbors wireless access points on this device. This lead me to some investigation on the WIFI chip and antenna used in this device. It turns out, the placement of the antenna decal was in the wrong spot on my unit. If the antenna is directly over the AP6330, you must move it to the other side. I did this and now I can see all my neighbors access points, and the MOGA Pro is responsive and never disconnects.Does what I intended to use it for (additional cable box using HDHomeRun Prime App). Remote is a joke, it is extremely weak. To use the remote requires direct line of site, and I mean direct (from 6 feet away). Do not intend to use this for gaming as it does not provide the necessary linux kernel modules to support game controllers. I contacted the manufacturer to find out if they had any firmware updates available to correct this and was told no. Also, apps are extremely difficult to control due to them being designed for a touch screen. The latest Youtube app is useless as it's impossible to get the screen to scroll. Other apps that have similar issues on this device are the Xfinity TV Go app, as well as Amazon Video On Demand.Pros:Use as an extra Cable Box. Haha Comcast!!Kodi Pre-installed.Speedy interface.Cons:Horrible Remote controlBloated with copyright infringing AppsNo firmware upgrades.

Excellent Box With Many Features
Excellent, very versatile box, with many features. Mechanically, it is shock sensitive. While setting it up, I dropped it a distance of a few inches on its side. I was freaked by something of considerable weight breaking loose and rattling around inside.I was relieved to find that the unit still worked. I removed the bottom cover, and discovered a steel plate had broken away from its mounts. two small screws secure this plate in place in small bosses molded into the cover base. The shock from the small drop caused the plastic bosses to shear off, screws intact.I secured the plate to the plastic base cover with silicone sealant and reinstalled the small screws, still in their bosses, with super glue.I have no idea what purpose the metal plate serves other than to add weight to the unit. The lesson is to use care when handling the unit .

Great unit. It's one of the few with double ...
Purchased the MXIII HD from KuWFi Technology Co., Ltd. and have used it for 9 months. Great unit. It's one of the few with double the RAM of most of the competition - 2GB RAM! Handles 4TB drives, wireless logitech keyboards, and the GPU processes 10GB movies like they were nothing. KuWFi Technology Co., Ltd provided top notch customer service. Answered my emails within MINUTES! Awesome communication and follow through. Will definitely buy with KuFWFi again.

Half-fast product
I thought this would run smoother with the specs it claims to have. Netflix even lags and throws off the sound a few nano seconds, enough so you can notice the lag. Some apps are not compatible - I uninstalled the bloated Kodi it came with and installed Kodi from the Google Play Store but it crashes every time I launch it. I also tried to reset the device to get back the bloated Kodi it came with but it won't let me. The keypad is defaulted to Chinese even after changing it to English, so I have to change it back every time I want to type something. I think this device would be a lot better if it was engineered better, it seems to me like the engineering quality is a little rushed therefore giving a half-fast product.
