Beautiful but useless
Kinda like a hot trophy wife, beautiful but useless. Nice heavy motor but can barely move any air on highest setting. It'll prob just sit there looking pretty. And I lost a light as well cause they charge you another $100 for a damn light when it should have included in the first place. For this price get something else.

Beautiful but Difficult
The fan is absolutely gorgeous. I paired this motor (in black) with the "whiskey" blades - they're real wood, and just like the rest of the appliance, very well crafted. And I like the fact that I can pick and choose my finishes independently, via their amazon store. I bought the blades, a longer downrod, and the lamp.But I have two complaints:1. Limited range of speeds - It only has 3 speeds, and the difference between 1 and 3 is minimal. At the highest setting, it really doesn't move that much air.2. Finicky controller - I don't know why fan manufacturers can't make a remote controller that actually works. But just every other fan remote I've tried, this one just sucks. If I had the option, I'd chunk the controller: but I want separate light and fan control and don't have a third wire in the circuit for the lamp. Not worth it to rewire.
