This nice, light hat quickly became my second favorite piece of head gear, and my go-to hot weather cap. It breathes well, and is so comfortable that I often forget that I have it on my head. There was only one catch: the elastic band was abominably tight. I couldn't wear it for more than half an hour without it giving me a nasty headache, so I performed a little surgery on it; making a tiny incision on the inside of the hat band, worked a small pair of scissors inside, severed the elastic band, then sewed it back up with a few stitches. All told, it was about ten minutes' worth of work, and the hat fit perfectly after that. Unless you have a truly tiny head, you won't need the band.

I almost cancelled this, because it is a fair weather hat,and I live in a cold climate in Maine. I couldn't cancel because it had been shipped. How lucky I was! When I opened it, I was surprised how carefully it was protected. Since I got it, I have been wearing it every day...simply, love it! In fact, I took a selfie and sent the picture to several family members and friends. My 92 year old uncle summed it up perfectly...." mega cool "
