AeromaxAeromax Jr. Astronaut Helmet with sounds White, Suggested for Ages 8 and up

Initially I was concerned that i would not fit my daughter. But I read a review where someone said that it fit their 25 year old son so I took a chance and I am glad I did. First the package arrived on time and a little early that expected. I tried it on first and it fit over my head just fine and I am a 40 year old adult. My 10 year old daughter fit it just fine with no problems. It is the final piece to her costume for a Black History wax museum project at her school. She mentioned that it was a bit uncomfortable on her shoulders but the product does recommend that you could add additional foam like weather stripping foam for a more comfortable and custom fit, which I think we will do. Besides that It was a great purchase and I am happy that I went with this. She will be using and playing with this long after this project is over!

My son loves it. My wife get's a kick out of it. I think it's awesome. It's huge! it fits like it should - so my little one isn't going to get his noggin stuck in it. The sound volume is perfect - too low to be annoying and just right for the wearer. I think this is one of those presents that will hang around for a while. Oh, one negative thing - I'm not sure it really is negative - The face plate fell off after a few hours of tough play. Now normally I would call that a bust, but not in this case. I like the way the plate can be reattached - but I also like that my little astronaut isn't too confined. It's just a little piece of mind that he's not going to suffocate - I know it's safe - I just don't want to be that parent who find out in the emergency room that my little adventurer was the victim of parental stupidity.

My son wore this with his astronaut costume, the features are really cool, it’s a bit big and bulky and slid around on him but he still loved it.

We ordered this for my son to wear for a Halloween Costume, and also for daily enjoyment. The Helmet is quite large was able to easily fit everyone in our family. The foam on the curved shoulder cutouts were a great addition for comfort but I feel that overall it could use something like foam inside to help keep it in place. Without anything inside to keep it from wobbling around it’s almost the same as putting a bucket on your head which made it a bit tricky for our son to manage.I would buy this again but my overall opinion is that the price could come down slightly to compensate for the fit adjustments. If you are small to average sized be prepared to wear something underneath to keep it stable.

I knew that my little cousin Jack (almost age 4) was into space and decided to get him something little more unique for Christmas. When he took it out of the box, everyone thought he was going to be scared of it and wouldn't want to play with it. Boy were they absolutely wrong. He couldn't let it out of his sight. He looked so cute putting it on and popping open the visor ... lol ... this lasted at least 7 days. I'm sure his parents didn't appreciate having to take it back on their plane ride home after the holidays but they were definitely proud of him when he wasn't scared to play with it and I know they loved to see their son's creativity outlet through his imagination the way it did. I highly recommend this for young boys who have expressed an interest in space/the moon/etc. Great gift.

The helmet was broken and the replacement helmet was broken. Don’t buy this!

My son was super excited about this helmet, it didn’t disappoint.

My nephew has wanted to go to outer space since he saw the rocket launch. So I bought this helmet along with other accessories to turn him and his twin sister into astronauts! They loved it! The helmet is well made. Being toddlers they don't always use the button on the side to open the visor and will force push it open. I was worried that would break it, but they did it many times and it didn't break. It was pricier than I wanted it to be, but in the long run it was worth it!
