I live in the US and my carrier is MetroPCS. It works very well with metro it was easy for them to switch the phone over only took about 3 minutes! Especially if you leave the barcode sticker on the back when you take it in! All they gotta do is scan it!This phone is fantastic!! I got the blue color and it's so pretty! I get compliments all the time on it! I love the cameras! The size of the screen is amazing! It took some getting used to because of Huaweis system is different than regular Android. But I quickly got used to it within a day or two and I also customized it with apps from the Google play store! Everything Google works on this phone perfect!The battery lasts me all day with off and on use I usually get down to about 35% at 2-3 am. Charging is so fast I leave it for what feels like 30-40 mins and it's almost at full charge. I don't leave it on the charger over night I just let it get to 100% and take it off I wake up and it's only dropped to 99% and I'm still good for the rest of the day! I haven't tested out how fast the battery draines while using GPS yet I've only used for short rides battery seems to do good.I would highly recommend this phone for anyone! I've had it a little over a month I have only used 11-12% of my storage with downloading apps and taking tons of pictures!

This phone is as good as any five hundred smartphone but for much less money. Trust me, you won't lose in this one, of course, unless you want to spend much money just for the brand name of a phone. This smart phone is as good as any iPhone or Samsung. By the way, I had before both of the phone I just mentioned and I don't see that much differences between them and the Huawei Y9 prime 2019, except that this phone doesn't has metal back cover which is very hard to notice. I already upgraded to EMUI version 10.0.0185 P2 GPU Turbo. Anyway I love this phone.

I’ve had this phone for roughly 2 months. At less than $215, it’s a pretty good phone for its price point.The phone comes in a typical Huawei box. You get the phone with a plastic screen protector already applied, thin silicone case, charger with type c cable, and earphones.The screen is large and vibrant. Images, words, and icons looks sharp and detailed. I was worried about the plastic build on the back but it has a pretty good feel and heft to it. Since it is plastic and plastic scratches easily, use a case. I’d recommend buying a different case since the one it comes with is kinda thin.The phone is fast and I haven’t had any lags like my Huawei P20 Lite. Unlocking the phone with the fingerprint scanner is quick. There is no facial recognition since the front facing camera is a pop up camera.Speaking of cameras, camera quality is good for the most part.. The camera UI is easy to use. Camera quality on the main back sensor is good with the right lighting conditions. Low light conditions makes the quality suffer a bit. The wide angle lens is useful when you want to get more in an image and quality is ok. Wouldn’t recommend using in low light conditions tho. The pop up camera has great image quality at 16MP. The pop up is fast and detects when it falls. The AI I pretty neat and I love it. Portrait mode on both front and back cameras suffer from over exposure and edge detection is not perfect. Otherwise, detail is good and provides different shapes for bokeh.Battery life is pretty standard. It mostly get 2 days out of it. Snapchat and Facebook make the battery drain quicker so keep that in mind.It is running EMUI 10 with Android 10 when you update the phone.I do recommend this phone if you pay less than $220. For more than $230 though, I’d recommend spending a little bit more for a Xiaomi Mi 9T. IEdit: forgot to mention that I’m on Cricket Wireless and I do get 4G. But it will vary depending on your city.

It's fast and easy to use.The optimization makes daily activities simple, easy and even enjoyable.The pictures are clean but the AI camera could do with some improvement.The aperture setting on the camera works just as it should.The portrait mode washes out some of the colour but does work well in different light intensities.The fingerprint sensor and the ease of navigation are huge selling points for the phone; they work almost flawlessly.

I think that huawei is about to change the game. I used only Apple products before, but huawei is giving me another alternative. Competitive price and good quality. It’s not a premium phone, but it looks like. I just upgraded from my honor 8x. Thank you guys

I bought this phone in May 2020 and wrote a review in October of the days year that the phone has been freezing dice it was purchased.I took the phone to a technician and there was a virus on the memory card. Since revive the memory card the phone had not been frozen todate April 5, 2021.I really love phone. It is of very high quality.

A great upgrade from my Huawei H1611. It does everything one could want in a mid line phone for the price point. I liked the apps that it comes with and find the swipe right to pull up Google a plus. Has more cameras than I think I need. I love the fingerprint recognition..works perfectly. My only negative is the plastic covering for the phone makes it slippery and not less.
