They Work
I am 88, so don’t hike or fish, but I used these socks in the shower to keep the tape on my injured foot dry! An unusual use, but they work. Once the foot heals, I will use them in my rain boots and go stomping through puddles as if I were five. Thanks for a great product

Finally something that works!
I walk my dog early in the morning through grass and the woods (hunting dog) and my socks are always soaked from dew. Waterproof shoes did not work but these socks do! If you want dry feet but these socks and be happy like me.

These work as intended
I wore these under my boots in the snow and fyi they were not snow boots. Luckily, my feet stayed completely dry. These do have stretch and the fabric is not soft, rather it feels like it is coated but not uncomfortable. I honestly found these to be oversized. I found that to be a tad bit uncomfortable because of the excess fabric past the toe. However, they worked and functioned just how I needed so I would recommend them. I looked at a lot of others and I think these were a middle ground price wise and work as advertised.

Really works!
Perfect for hikes with water crossings! I used these socks while hiking the Narrows in Zion. My feet stayed comfy and dry!

If you’re a runner, try these out!
I was worried these XS socks would be too big, but they are just small enough. If they were any bigger they would be too big. (In regular shoes, I’m size 6, running shoes or boots I’m size 7, sometimes in dress shoes I’ll be as low as 5.5. If your feet are smaller than mine, I’d recommend going down to the children’s version that this company sells.) I have always lived places where it either does not rain much or doesn’t rain hard, so I’ve never thought it was a big deal to just run with regular gear and maybe throw a rain shell over top. Every once in along while there would be a big storm and I’d get soaked to the bone, but no big deal. However, now I’m somewhere where when it rains it really rains and if I run in the rain, I’m going to get soaked. So, I’ve done that a bunch of times this year and done with it. I can’t wait to try these out on a run. Just testing them out so far, I can tell they won’t breathe well, but if they did, I’d be worried about their rainproof-ness LOL. If I have a choice between hot feet or soaked and freezing feet, I’d take the former. I’m a trail runner, so can’t wait to go splashing through puddles! If the socks do not live up to my expectations, I’ll update the review. By the way, I’m very picky with sock seams and not getting blisters, especially when it comes to running, and I think these seem like they’re going to be comfortable in that way. They are more bulky than my regular running socks, but I wear the ultrathin socks without padded toes or heels. I would say that the thickness is on par or thinner than the running socks I’ve tried on that have are padded. I tried these on with my running shoes and the shoes are more snug, but not to the point of needing to go up to the next shoe size or squishing my toes or feet. I chose these socks over a shorter pair of waterproof socks (both brands recommended by a runners world article) just because the shorter ones will not stop rain from going down inside the sock. These are waterproof and snug over the ankle, so I’m confident they will be great. I also love the bright yellow color for street running to make me more visible. Sorry for the ramble - I’m just really excited to try these out and wanted to make sure I addressed all of the comments other people have made and the questions I had before i bought them :)

Dry feet good
On the hottest day of the year I wore these into the caves of Maquoketa, IA along with an outer pair of tennis shoes for hiking. The cool cave water on my feet was refreshing as I strode confidently through the caverns. I found that this Is the only way to traverse through wet, muddy, and rugged terrain, in a pair of these waterproof socks. I had a hunch that these would be what I was looking for so that I didn’t have to worry about my toes pruning up and that hunch paid off!

There a plastic bag covered in a sock
I haven't got to use them yet, but pretty clear is just a bag with a sock wrapped around it. Not sure if this is what I expected since it my first waterproof sock purchase, but we'll see how well they work shortly.

Great for rainy hikes
Bought these for my dad, he hikes a lot and said they’ve been very comfy and fit great. He likes using them in rainy hikes since they’re water proof.
