Such a Cost Saver
I love my GolfBuddy but I use it so much the battery seldom lasts more than one season. Rather than spend over $100 for a new one I just buy replacement batteries and replace it myself. Yes, it does take some finess but very doable and the result is huge cost savings!

Exact replacement part, fits perfectly
Perfect fit, watched a youtube vid on how to replace and it was fairly easy to complete in less than 5 min. Unit is like new now I can play 18 and still have more than half the battery life left. Well worth the price time and effort.

Limited battery life.
The first couple of times I used it after changing batteries it lasted about nine holes. It now usually lasts 18 rounds but get battery low voice warning around fifteenth hole.

Know the Distance !
Worked great. Couldn't get thru 12 holes before...nowomplete 18 with battery to spare. Need patience to install. Take it slow and don't force anything. My GB was 3+ years old.Know the distance!

Good product but hard to install without the right tools
The product is fine but it ought to come with tools for inserting. It was very difficult without the tools.

Don’t throw your golf buddy away !!
Replacing the worn out battery on golf buddy should extend life for a long time. Be patient with the installation!
