Worked as needed. The rope has streached after a couple pulls, had to retie the handle a bit tighter, but has been working great.

I replaced the original pull starter on my go kart with this one. About a month later the engine locked up. Come to find out, the pull starter finger had broken, stuck to the magneto, and wedged in tight. Not very high quality and I wouldn't buy it again.

Broke first time I used it. Returned for a refund.

The product came on time,actually early, a plus. The only problem I had with the assembly is that one hole did not line up exactly i.e. I could use a socket on all but one bolt and that required an open end wrench. The recoil appears to be working fine but longevity is unknown. The original lasted for 18 years. So far it seems to be a product that I can recommend

Needed to replace the recoil starter assembly on a 5hp Tecumseh for the grandkid's go kart. This unit is basically a lightweight stamped steel item with plastic recoil reel. The reel sort of wobbles when it is retracting the line. Made in China so, how long it will last is anyone's guess.

Came pretty quick, Holes didn't line up perfectly but I got it on no problem. came with string all set up, works great.

All the holes around the edge make it universal to some extent. It functions perfectly on my application and seems just as heavy duty as the original. For the price it sure beats the aggravation of trying to rewind the original. I think I'll order another one to have on hand as a backup.
