Sylvania SP328 speaker good buy for its price
I purchased the SP328 Sylvania portable speaker in Red not too long ago. I bought it because the wireless speaker I had been using is missing it's charging cord due to a recent move. I figured it would turn up eventually but until then I would use this as a back up. The price was very cheap so I wasn't expecting much. However I will say it surpassed my expectations. I don't know what I was expecting as far as size, but I was definitely smaller than I thought it would be. It's about the size of an 8 pack can of sodas. The speaker holes and knobs light up with this pretty blue neon color. You can plug it in to your outlet and use it, or once charged up you can take it around and use it with the plug and play feature or Bluetooth if your music device has that capability. For the price the sound is great! However if you are big on superb sound quality, loud music, and hard hitting base this device may not live up to your standards. I turned it up to its max and sound became distorted as if I was taking past its ability to perform at its best. With that being said for the price it's great, it does get loud enough to fill a room, great for easy listening, or a group gathering.

Great Overall Speaker.
This product is a nice looking product, and the lights are a very good touch, especially in the dark, however, it does not have very much watt output. This speaker only has 6 watts (3x2). Don't get me wrong, this speaker gets very loud, and sounds good, however, once you turn it up high enough, it does get distorted. What I do to solve this problem is I keep the volume turned up all the way on the speaker, and I turn it down two clicks on my ipod. This speaker has very good battery life. I take it when I go disc golfing, and it lasts at almost full volume for the whole 4 hour round. And then on top of that, I continue using it at my house at almost full volume for many more hours. This is a good speaker like I said, the only thing that I don't like is the fact that you can't turn it up all of the way without it getting distorted.

It's Great..until it breaks.
I'd rate this 2.5/5. Its a great GREAT speaker at first. Loud enough to be a music source while playing pick up basketball in a gym and it was the main source of music at a 20-25 person get together in a basement. This speaker has some power. Loudness probably gets a rating of 3.5/5. And the option to toggle the bass and treble is awesome too to get the clearest sounding music. Now to the bad parts. the bluetooth kept disconnecting even though the phone was resting on top of it, and when switching to the aux it would do a weird red and blue blinking thing and not produce any music at the most random times. You can imagine how annoying this would be especially when playing music in front of a number of people with everyone jamming out.Maybe I'm just heavy handed but about a week and a half of moderate use, the charging plug in broke and now I can't get it to charge. The battery lasts forever but once it dies I wont be able to charge it at all and it will be a useless block. Very disappointed in this speaker because I feel like it has so much potential to be a top selling affordable speaker. I think i will purchase one more to see if mine was just a dud but come on Sylvania!! If this thing worked properly i'd rate it 4.5/5 but it needs some hardware work.

I received this as a Christmas gift last year and I loved it but the charging port broke in less than a year. I loved the speaker so much so I decided to risk it and buy another one. So far I haven't had any issues. The speaker is really loud and holds a charge for a long time. We have a projector so we watch movies outside in the summertime and I use this speaker for that- it's the only one I've found loud enough in this price range. I also use it to listen to music when I'm getting ready in the morning and cooking. So I'm just hoping this one lasts longer!

Great Price, Great Sounds
Pretty surprised of the tunes that come out of this relativity cheap speaker. My Galaxy connected right to it no issues at all. And it gets pretty loud. The bass is not so great, sounds sloppy if you max it out. So you may only want to go halfway on bass. It's pretty cool the speaker lights up as music plays. Was not expecting that, so thats a plus. Pretty big and sturdy speaker and is totally wirth it's weight in gold. Pretty happy with my purchase and will update review after I use speaker for awhile.

Low-Fi audio.
This thing is large, which would not be a big deal If they had taken advantage of the size to use better quality drivers. Sound quality is below average. I bought one of the small BT speakers along with this one and those sound much better plus they take up much less space. I'm giving it 3 stars only because the speaker lights are kinda cool and It was cheap at less than $20 dollars. My recommendation, get one of those Anker speakers with 1k plus reviews or something similar.
