solid and secure seat.
This is my third Hawk that I have purchased. I weigh 240 lbs and feel very secure in the stand. I would have given this a 5-star rating if not for Summit's lack of attention to detail. The sheet metal cover on the seat had a buckle in it and made a popping noise when I shifted my weight. Summit did follow on my concerns and sent me a new seat.

Great Stand
This treestand is awesome, plain and simple. I hate having to hold the stand and throw straps around the tree so being able to set the talon bracket first is ideal. The platform can be adjusted easily for a nice level stand and is by far the most comfortable set I have been in. I have a few of these and never have had a hunt busted because of popping or squeaking like other stands. The only thing I have a problem with is close to the tree your foot could step through the platform. The stand is rock solid with just the talon bracket but I do put a couple ratchet straps on just to be safe.

Spend the extra Bucks on a Lone Wolf...
Seat is comfortable... Stand is SLIPPERY WHEN WET!!! And in classic Summit fashion traction strip cost, you guessed it EXTRA!!! By the way so do backpack straps. The Lone Wolf Assault and Assault 2 are SOOOOOO much nicer of a product. Wouldn’t buy again. I own this stand, a Summit Goliath SD Climber, and a Lone Wolf Assault 2. Love the Climber, wish I bought another Lone Wolf instead of this stand...

Not too heavy, pain to setup
The weight on this stand is great, but....setting it up while hanging, and even more so taking it down is pretty aggrevating. Especially while hanging 18'+ in the air on a linemans belt. Love Summit gear, but the suspension system on this stand needs a redesign.

Nice stand but....
The tree stand itself is very nice. But the talon bracket was not in the box nor was the body harness. Box was ripped and retaped.

I liked it but the price was insane so this year ...
Solid. Light. Get the straps for it though, makes it easier to haul. I came over from a lone wolf, I liked it but the price was insane so this year I got this one. So far its been just as good if not better.

This is by far my favorite hang-on stand for remote access areas where a light
I've used a lot of different stands over the years, both climbing and hang-on stands. This is by far my favorite hang-on stand for remote access areas where a light, minimal stand is a plus. It's easy to hang, well-built, quiet, and very secure.

Ripped off
Item arrived today much quicker than expected but the box was completely wide open and all hardware for the stand and the safety harness are missing. The stand was hanging halfway out of the box and it looked as if it had been drug up my driveway....ticked off buyer
