Not the cheapest, but really versatile and do exactly what you want them to do.
I've been using a large light ring set up behind my computer for over a year now, and it's been very useful. It's also a little unweildy and not perhaps as versatile as I like. It's not the easiest thing to move around and then get back into place without shifting things around, so I went looking for a more portable solution.I immediately looked at Neewer as I've got a few of their products already and they've always been excellent. This twin pack of lights is right up there too. You'll get a pair of lights, each powered by USB with a good length of cable with an in-line power switch with seperate brightness controls. Each light has its own tripod which extend to a decent height, and comes with a number of filters. The build of the lights do feel a little lightweight. They feel very plasticky, but that does hammer home the portability of them. In use there's been no issues so far from about four months of use. I have been using them for product lighting on some of my Amazon reviews, and for as supplimentary lighting for my Nikon DSLR which I use for my "piece to camera" when I'm making YouTube videos. The fact that they're powered by USB gives you great versatility. I've been able to used them remotely where no 230v power was available, instead powering them from a portable power bank I normally use for charging my mobile phone when out walking. They're a little pricey, and you could probably find a similar product for less money, but you know with Neewer that you're getting a reliable and safe product. I would certainly recommend them.

Very lightweight and flimsy
They are good when you don't need to use them at full height, but if you try to stretch them to the fullest they will topple over and over again. They will even topple from their own weight.I found that if I use both lights from the same standpoint at the same time they can work as key light, however on its own they are not powerful enough to be key lights. They can work as hair or fill light tho.In general, I found the light to be nice, it is intense for the price, I love colour filters and found them very easy to use and useful. The price is awesome for what you get in terms of lighting. Also, you will get a diffuser for regular light and you can adjust the intensity, these are nice features. However, I hate to deal with wires and these lights don't have batteries, it is very easy to kick the cable and topple them. Also, cables look like a mess. Another troubling aspect is USB connection. Cables DO NOT plugin into a regular socket. You will need a USB to power socket adapter to use these lights. My conclusion is you get very good lighting for the price, but cables, no batteries and flimsy stands suck. Colour filters and diffuser are cool tho and being able to adjust the light is nice as well.In overall, not bad and worth the money, but shouldn't be your main light.

Multi use!
If you're looking for solid SOLID stands, these aren't for you. They're great for what I need but they are plastic so they have a bit of give and are quite lightweight, but of course they do hold the lights without issue! The stands double as a selfie stick (inc padding to hold on to) if you attach a phone holder or have a standard camera thread to attach to (small camera, you're probably not getting a DSLR on it)USB powered, you can take them with you if you're an out and about filmmaker and power them off a regular old portable phone charger. They also come with blue, red, and yellow gels which are quite effective for light colour but I've not needed them much for my projects personally.oh and ofc they're like.. dimmable lights and that if you need those. The light quality is great when you add the included diffuser. A nice range of brightness too from just enough to see in the dark to light everything up that needs lighting up -- and there's two of them! While the build may feel a little flimsy (it is all plastic based) I believe as flimsy goes these will last quite a long time. My only real concern would be stepping on them if I'd left them on the floor. I do not think they'll break themselves in any way!You can also if you're quite silly attach one of the stands to the other and make a really long, really unstable, really flexible selfie stick but I definitely almost snapped something doing that.. Don't do that with anything expensive on the far end :)

Does a good job but doubt will last long
Plastic is incredibly cheap and flimsy feeling I think even a bit of wind will knock these lights over so they definitely do not feel worth it for the price however with winter coming up and less daylight hours, these lights actually do do a good job of giving you well done images. The light is a nice soft white and when I adjust the warmth from my camera setting the pictures look like I’ve taken them in natural daylight. I also like how you can control the brightness and the length on the tripod but again it’s a bit flimsy and I still can’t figure out how to keep them in place so I just twist them till they stay in the place I want. I don’t think these will last me a long time but didn’t wanna break the bank at the mo so these will do for now

You must have a usb power system
These are very bright and the colours are fantastic yes not high but put on a table or on the floor facing for instance a bride or to give some colour to the wall behind her . But yes a double usb outlet to power these lights is needed not rechargable or have any battery compartments but very light to cary around not including power. You could be lucky and find sockets equipped with usb power outlets.I will use makita batteries with the torch and power take of adaptor. These could be used for work lighting and video lighting out in a field or away from the grid. and very reasonable priced at £32 for 2.
