Great sturdy little toy; provides hours of fun without faltering!
I purchased this toy for my 5-year-old son and we liked it very much. It is a solid product and provided many many hours of fun for him and he absolutely loved that it had the sounds from Miles From Tomorrowland! It was wonderful that when he inevitably dropped it for the first of many times (as children are wont to do at that age) it was resilient and tough and never once faltered in it's performance. The only reason I didn't give this toy five stars is the fact that for a tiny wrist the toy was pretty cumbersome and the wrist strap didn't do a very good job of holding it in place as it's a bit heavy and ungainly. Of course, he didn't have any complaints and thought this toy was "totally awesome!" All around, I feel this is a spectacular product for the price and it's still providing him with hours of make believe fun. As I said, the only thing I would like to see changed is a better, more secure way to fasten it to a little bitty arm to keep it from spinning around the wrist. Otherwise, well done on this product and thank you from my very happy little boy!

Parents don't like it, but kids might
My 3 yo son loves Miles from Tmroland - and he kept pretending that he had one of these on his wrist, so when I saw this for sale I knew I had to get it for him. The reviews are correct, it's only an ok product for the following reasons: 1) doesn't stay on the wrist well - keeps sliding around 2) hard to strap on well, my kid didn't like how we had to put it on tightly or it'll slide around. So we either had it too loose or too tight. We ended up putting on a long sleeve shirt and then placing the toy on to keep it from sliding all over 3) the flip door is prone to snapping off - my husband has already had to do one glue repair 4) it's a pretty simple toy without much choice in image projection or voice commands. But my son still loves it, so it still gets 3 stars instead of 2 stars.

Fun
This is a pretty fun toy. I went ahead and got it despite what I heard about the hard to put on straps. I decided I was going to put Velcro on it. I sewed Velcro on it but it still is difficult for ages four and six to put on their arms by themselves because the device is thick and a tad heavy. So for that reason I gave it four stars. But it is still cool nonetheless. It is really fun seeing the projection of Mile's dad on the "screen". And he says several phrases. It shoots well too. They play with it here and there and when I do they have big smiles on their faces. I personally love it and I would've loved to of had it when I was a kid - imperfect strap and all.

Arm strap is horrible
Cool toy with nice features, but the strap is awful and the toy is pretty big for a kid. The strap should be Velcro, but instead it is thick plastic with little nubs that you have to line up with holes and then push really hard into your child's arm in order to get it on. My son doesn't play with it very often because it's so hard to put on. That being said, the little view screen wth Mile's dad is pretty neat.

Cute and priced well for your little miles fan !
Just an amazing little gadget for your miles fan! Got this as part of my son's Halloween costume he's had it a few days and just can't put it down it's nicely designed and everything works - he especially loves it when Mile's dad tells him a message on the little video screen & can't wait to go trick-or-treating with it on his wrist. And yes some Velcro to help fasten it easier would've helped but it's not such a big deal as it's just an adorable item !

5 stars from our 5 y.o.
Our 5 y.o. wanted this for his birthday. He was very excited and loved being able to shoot the "missiles" around the house. When you lift up the panel, you can push a button and a hologram of Miles' Dad, Leo, appears. He thinks it's magic. That feature was unexpected, but definitely an awesome bonus.

Once it's on, it works well. Hard to get on
So I'm a bit disappointed with this purchase. I thought it was going to be so great but it's nearly impossible for a kid to get on his wrist by himself because the clasps are so difficult. Then it falls off and Mom has to put it back on again. My six year -- who LOVES Miles -- didn't play it with it much and my 4 year old was very frustrated.

Batteries were leaking
My son was excited to receive this gift and I was glad it came with batteries. It didn't work at all and then I figured out why.
