I like this drain declogger. I tried several ones for my restroom but this one is the only one that actually works and can save me a call to the plumber. It's easy to use, just pour, wait, and rinse with hot water.

I haven't usually written Amazon reviews for relatively inexpensive, utilitarian items, but this stuff worked so well that I'm offering these comments without Amazon's invitation. I'm not fond of harsh, household chemicals (or adding them to my home's liquid waste stream), so I've previously "cleaned" the drain of my bathroom sink with one of those small, rotatable plastic-rod extractors. They aren't cheap, and after going through a whole package of seven, I recently had to get out a wrench, rubber gloves, and a bucket and remove the drain trap. I cleaned it as best I could, but the outlet line of the trap is close to horizontal, and I didn't have a long plumber's snake. Well, even that effort didn't last long, and the sink would fill to the emergency drain hole as I washed my face as quickly as I could. So, I ordered more plastic reamers and a short plumber's snake, but on impulse bought a bottle of this gel. Because of the ease, I tried it first before planning to remove the trap AGAIN. This stuff cleaned the line amazingly, and now there is NO accumulation of water in the sink while I take my time to wash my face! I won't have to remove the trap again and mess with the snake. I now think this will be my "go to" when needed again. The only downside is that this stuff has a rather acrid, throat-burning odor while one waits for the 15 minutes for it to work before flushing with much running hot water. If one could shut the bathroom door and open a bathroom window while using this, I'd recommend doing so while temporarily exiting the bathroom.

This clog remover works great on tough sink and shower clogs. The thick gel coats the pipes and clears out buildup fast. I’ve used it several times, and it always gets the water flowing again without needing a plumber. I even pour a little down the sink every few days to prevent odors—definitely a must-have for the house!
