Geekria QuickFit Replacement Ear Pads for Sony MDR-100ABN, WH-H900N Headphones Ear Cushions, Repair Parts with Video Guide (Black)

Been enjoying great sound and noise cancellation on my headphones Sony MDR-ABN100 , but after 2 years both earpads (just the soft couching that touch years) got eventually cut/open, so just received these ones and was easy to "unclick" the 6 connections (they bring a small plastic tube to help insert in between the earpads and the headphones plastic shell but i advise using a pen or something stronger. But unplug/unclick earpads was very fast and easy and these ear pads look i got new headphones :)Will update this review in couple months from now (28-March-2019).

The sizes are completely uneven with one earpad much bigger than the other one. And completely changes the sound as the mesh fabric on the inside is way cheaper quality and looser than the original one. Maybe I had a defect one but my Sony MDR-100 ABN headphones sound had nearly no bass effect with Geekria. Because they are not the correct fit, the sound cancelling feature didn't work as I guess the earpads need more pad couch volume to seal your ears a bit more. Returned on the same very day I received them.

Replacing old ear pads is easy.Comfort is quite good.Noise cancelling is not as good as with the original ear pads, but not too nad.Sound quality is not much different from the original pads. At least if you are lucky enough to avoid the ever present feedback that occurs every time I power up the headset after I put these pads on there.Only way to get rid of it, is to turn noise cancelling and ambient sound off for a while, then turn it back on after half an hour or so.Guess you get what you pay for, but still quite annoying.

Let's just see how long they last... My originals started giving up after about three years.. and were on their last legs... So happy with these.

The space for your ears is smaller than the originals. The foam padding is softer than the original pads, so you feel the plastic through them a bit more. Overall not very comfortable for me.Might be fine for some if desperate, but I'm going to try to find a genuine Sony spare.

- Noise cancellation stops working with these poor quality pads- I was given two right sided pads so now it's uncomfortable as well.- Try to source proper Sony ear pads

The pads on my MDR-100ABN headphones were ripping and badly worn. Bought these as a replacement and they work perfectly. The headphones look like new. The feel as comfortable as the actual pads and do not impact sound quality at all. If these wear out I will definitely be getting them again.

They even come with handy little tool to remove the old ear phone covers.👍
