Used goop and let dry for 48 hours. The skeg fixed the tracking issue completely. I ended up cutting it down to 4 inches tall with my dremel so I can go up river but even at 4 the tracking is straight as an arrow in rivers and lakes also. Highly recommend.Used on Sun Dolphin Journey 10ss

Added this to a lifetime triton angler kayak. Made a huge difference. The kayak tracks straight and when unstop paddling it keeps going straight as an arrow whereas before you wld start veering off to one side or another. Just used marine goop to install. Fin can slide in and u can take it back out when ur out of the water. Highly recommend if you have a kayak that doesn’t track well.

This skeg is perfect to mount on the underside of a kayak. My kayak no longer has issues tracking. I liked that it detaches from the kayak. This makes traveling with it a lot easier. I thought the material was going to be flimsy, but I can set my 100lb kayak on the ground and the skeg does not bend over or lean. It supports all the weight of the boat. I've hit a few logs and bottomed out before and the skeg has not broken or cracked. It has a few scratches but that is bound to happen. I am overall very satisfied with this product.

This product worked as advertised. We have a two person inflatable kayak, and it took me about 20 minutes to attach it with Goop. After letting it sit for a week, we took it out for the first time over the weekend.It made a huge difference. The kayak stayed straight and go where I wanted. We were able to go around the 50 acre lake about 5 times in two hours. We managed to ground it a few times and it stayed attached without any issues. Best value for the investment!

Molds easily to the vee of a kayak keel with Loctite Marine Adhesive Sealant in the evening and kayaked the next morning. Held up through several bumps and light groundings. On a Old Town Otter Tandem, it helped tremendously with tracking, but obviously makes turning more difficult. Will use on deeper owner water and keep it detached for shallow rivers.Glad I bought it.

I attached this skeg to a Saturn raft/kayak to help with tracking, which was non existent. It made a dramatic difference. It is well made and attached easily to my inflatable. I liked the brass inserts used for the stainless screws that held the skeg in. It is unusual to find that kind of quality in an inexpensive item. It should last a lifetime.

I put these on my 10ft and 12ft feild and stream kayaks. I used gorilla double sided tape. They can be put on for windy days and really helped tracking while paddling.

The fin works fine, I glued it on the bottom of my inflatable paddle board. I used glue from the patch kit and even glue extra patch strips over the top to doubly secure.I just didn't like that little screw in deal every time I have to put the fin in. I have other fins that just snap in.
