Blade Mace (Javathri) Natural Aromatic Pure Loose Herb Spice Kosher (1oz.)

I got this to use with holiday baking and to make pomander balls as gifts. Out of the jar, it smelled so fresh and many of the pieces were almost the entire mace. Mace is the dried webbing which covers the nutmeg within the nutmeg fruit. It was also one of the main spices the explorers were looking for! Since this is in its whole form, not preground,it is significantly spicier than the kind that is widely available. I’m planning to use it in other dishes as well.

Wow! Not only did I get this delivered to me in warp speed (and on A Sunday!) it was beautifully packaged inside and out. The glass jar alone is worth the price. This would be a lovely gift for cooks of any cuisine. I’ll definitely be back for more. Can’t say enough great things about this company.

The scent is very good,since i'm using it for potpourri. The heavy glass jar with the air tight lid will keepthe contents fresh.

Nice fresh clean flavor.

I bought this mace to use in pickling and preserving recipes. It's a good product and the jar it came in is cute I almost didn't want to open it and use the mace! lol. It also arrived earlier that promised so I hope Burma Spice has continued success working with Amazon.
