What is the difference between this model, 351ledbipn930, and the 351ledbipn830 one?

Technically the only difference is the color rendering between these two models. Color rendering refers to how well you can see various shades of color under a given light source. The model ending in 930 is the replacement for the 830 model and is superior in color rendering. You can see more colors from the color spectrum correctly with the 930 upgrade.

i have had the led lamp 4lxo e345038 for at least 4yrs. now that i need replacements, it would seem the model no. has changed but not the make?

Hello, The updated module looks different from what you currently have in your fixture. The new module will still fit in your fixture and will produce light more efficiently but the light will be cast slightly different which may cause you to want to change out any other fixture that you may have with the new module. The manufacturer is using this new light module as its standard replacement for all future orders. Hope this helps! --Craig

This bulb is discontinued. Is there a replacement bulb?

The 351LEDBIPNS930 replacement fits, but it is longer than the original module. It stuck out from the bottom of my pendant light and I am returning it.

Are these lamps as the above picture shows? i want the old style with the cooling fins and primarily down-lighting, not the new plastic encased ones.
