GREAT shoes
These are great shoes and a great value. I bought a pair a year ago because i like NB and because they were available in "B" width (the stores almost always have the much wider "D").This time I bought two pairs, one for my teen son. They are sized correctly and fit as expected. Very comfortable for walking or running. Light weight but not flimsy. Attractive enough to be worn working out or hanging out. And the price is good, too -- similar shoes sold for twice this price! And durable - holding up well after about a year of pretty much daily use for walking and casual wearing.I still have and wear the last pair after about a year, I only got another pair since I was buying for my son and I didnt' keep mine as clean as I might have.

Great Sneakers
These provide great support and are very comfortable. They are a little heavy but that helps with the stability they provide. They look good and feel even better. The fit is spot on.

Nice and wide
I had a Lizfranc fracture of my right foot. It is still healing and quite a bit larger than my left foot. Most of my shoes only fit my left foot and I bought one pair of size 12 shoes to wear the right shoe with my other shoes. Very stylish. The New Balance shoes were offered in extra wide so I tried them in my normal size, but XXW.The shoes arrived quickly and I tried them on the day. The right foot was a bit of a squeeze, but once on, they fit well.I could tighten the left shoe tight enough to fit without shifting much as I walked. After wearing the shoes and walking quite a bit, they work well. I plan on purchasing some shoe inserts to make the fit more comfortable, but they are very comfortable as is. The inserts should help the left shoe fit a bit tighter. In a nut shell, great price, shipped quickly and wide enough to fit my swollen foot comfortably.

If your feet are narrow in width, New Balance is the way to go.
I normally wear a size 14 narrow shoe, and that is what I ordered, and that is what I got, but, my toe kept bumping the end of the shoe. For some reason, most shoes manufactured by Asian countries seem to run 1 or two sizes too small. I bought a pair of Nikes (Amazon) over 10 years ago, and had to order size 16 to get a comfortable fit lengthwise, but had to wear arch supports due to the extra width of the shoe. BTW, I am still wearing those Nike shoes. I have heard that New Balance shoes tend to be narrower than most, and happily that seems to be true. I reordered the NB shoes in size 15 and they fit perfectly. I wore them all day when I first got them, and they felt comfortable until I took them off at night. The biggest gripe I have about sport shoes is that the shoe lace eyelets are just holes punched in the leather or uppers, making it difficult to lace the shoes up, and over time, the holes enlarge until the shoe lace pulls through them. Now that I know that these fit me, I am going to install 3/16" grommets or eyelets in all of the eyelet holes, except for the two nearest the toe. There isn't enough "play" in the material to get a hole puncher over them.

Great cushion without excessive height
Okay I've worn NB cross trainers for almost 20 years. Middle age guy who lifts weights, walks, and jogs. Worn through tons of the 623's and 608's and they were good sneaks. But these 517's are the best NB sneaks I have ever worn. Great cushioning w/o adding a different insole, and the cushioning is low and does not create excessive height underfoot to where you feel like you might roll an ankle. Have a pair of HOKA Bondi's and they are super cushioned, but I feel insecure in them, always worried I might roll an ankle... these shoes much better for much less $$. I find myself reaching for these and not the Hokas.
