The old brush on my Hoover had broken and I put the unit aside. I needed to do my house and decided to try replacing the brush rather than throwing the old Hoover away and buying a new one. Boy, am I glad I did. For a little bit of money my Hoover ran like a new machine. I was surprised at how much dirt was trapped in my carpets even though they didn't look that dirty. This was a perfect fit replacement brush and was easy to install.

This brush head does not fit the Hoover FH50150 Carpet Basics Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner that I purchased from Amazon. Too bad I missed the cut off for returns. Now I am out of money, and have a brush head to toss in the trash because I can't use it.

It was easy to install and I’m glad I found the part since the carpet cleaner I have is discontinued.

Bristles not as thick and sturdy as my originals.

Brushes are pretty soft. I was kind of disappointed. it also didnt fit properly.

i looked and looked for the brush for my steam cleaner FH50150 and when i looked on amazon this one came up IT DOES NOT FIT THAT MODEL after a bunch of research they do not make the brush assembly for the FH50150 any more as the steam cleaner itself has been discontinued even though you can buy one brand new at many places you cannot buy the parts that are out of stock and they wont be back in stock

I had a hard time finding which one to order and got the wrong part twice. They look similar, but are very different to install. This one fit and works well.

This was an exact replacement for the brush that came with my Hoover steam cleaner. Very pleased with it. The original one just snaps out, and the new one snaps into place.(The original hadn't worn out, but it was filled with debris from lint, cat hair, hairballs, kid vomit, and the normal debris that can get trapped in there. I thought about trying to clean it, but aside from gross factor, a replacement brush head is cheap enough.)I bought one already, and I'm ordering an extra to have on hand.
