ExOfficio Women's Goto 24 Hour Dress

I love the fabric, color is beautiful, style is pretty. 2 hip pockets, fabulous. What totally throws this dress is the weirdly saggy elastic waist (the elastic isn't bad, I think it's just too thin for the fabric of the dress, which is pretty substantial) and the weird shelf bra that doesn't seem like it would do anything. The elastic at the waist doesn't nip in as much as you'd think, definitely not as much as it does on the model, and like I said, I think it's because the elastic just isn't substantial enough for the weight of the fabric.The shelf bra is just... Strange. I get Ex-Officio's whole schtick is that you travel with their clothes and you don't have to take a lot of extra junk (like bras), but the shelf bra in this thing is enormous (I bought a size small, I normally wear XS in ExO clothes, but there was a huge price difference so I figured let me give the small a shot, and I'm large chested, normally a 28F or FF, depending on the brand and style of bra). It did absolutely NOTHING in terms of support for me, even with the "cups" (flimsy little foamy things you'd find in a Target or Old Navy bathing suit top, not actual quality cups). I had to wear a bra under it, which isn't a huge problem in and of itself, because I often wear bras under shelf bras. The problem was when I put a bra under it, the shelf bra was so obtrusive and thick and weirdly placed that it made the whole top of the dress look bizarre. I realize I bought a dress that's slightly oversized for me, but had it not had that weird shelf bra, it would've probably worked, even with the wonky waistline. I contemplated keeping it and just cutting out the shelf bra (which it seems like you could do), and had the dress been under $20 or so I probably would've done that, but I couldn't justify it at this price point. Sad because it's really a lovely dress otherwise, and as usual, ExO's fabric was totally top of the line. It hurts to return it but I really had no choice.

I agree with other reviewers that the wannabe shelf bra in this is awkward and worthless, but by simply removing the very awkward foam pads this dress does fit quite nicely. I will also likely have the pockets removed as they create extra bulk exactly in the place where it's NOT needed. I actually like the soft coral color, it's very cheery and perfect for a tropical vacation dinner ;) Amazon had dropped the price on this, thus why I'm keeping it. I don't think I'd pay more than $35 for it though with the awkward shelf bra and bulky pocket issues.

It's ok. Could be seriously improved on though. Definitely don't understand the hype from other websites/ travelers. I'm 5'4", 135 lbs, 36B, with a 29 inch waist. The small fit perfectly.Pros: Looks decent, doesn't seem to wrinkle much, and has large pockets. Conservative length, and is comfortable.Cons: No zipper pocket: you can be ssoooo easily pickpocketed, which almost defeats the purpose of pockets in a travel dress. Just one small zipper pocket somewhere would've been appreciated. * Material is very casual. Unless dressed up significantly, I don't see this being a particularly versatile dress. * Inner bra shelf is kinda odd, not terrible. If I were a C cup, I'd definitely still need to wear a bra with this. As a B cup, I could probably get away with not wearing a bra, but it wouldn't look great.

Other reviews were right, this fits oddly. I was disappointed since I love the color and cut, if it only draped properly. It was too small in the skirt, and too baggy in the waist.

This dress is a great all around dress but it is bulky and heavy for a travel dress. I personally prefer other dresses but this one is made of a more natural fabric and it doesn't "look" like a travel dress.

Compared to other Exofficio dresses, this one is not very flattering. It runs big. It has built in bra but it is not effective or flattering. I would not recommend this particular ExOfficio dress.

Too much extra and overlapping of fabric for hot climates.

This dress is absolutely perfect for those hot summer days. It keeps you feeling cool and the fabric is super soft. The dress fit perfectly and is super flattering with the belt. I ordered a medium. I am normally a womens 8-10.
