I was pleased that the pan is just iron
I tried really hard with this pan. I researched how to season it, and did it. It got all nicely-black, those who know will understand. I was pleased that the pan is just iron, without that unhealthy "non-stick" covering. The size is good. But... everything still sticks to the pan quite badly. If you wash it immediately, the black "seasoned" part gets damaged, and you have to season all over again! Not to mention that the black bits do end up on/in the food when cooking. Or, if you try soaking the pan - which shouldn't be done, but when food sticks to it, it's unavoidable - then the pan goes rusty, "seasoning" gets damaged... You get the picture. So I gave up, bought just plain stainless steel pan instead, which is both easy and straightforward to use and clean, and the other pan I gave away to someone who does metal scrap. I don't believe I have to dedicate my life to looking after the pan. Will never buy anything of this make again.
