A perfect (and economical) solution to our church's audio needs. Highly recommended!
Our smallish church congregation of 100+ uses two wireless mics. In the past, we have always purchased a Shure wireless mic system ($300) -- with good results (quality & longevity). Recently, one of our Shures bit the dust and after looking, investigating, and reading reviews I decided to purchase the PylePro 2 mic wireless system for a fraction of the price. One month in to using the mics I have to say that I am very impressed and pleased. The system came well-packaged and everything seems well manufactured, designed. We are unable to notice any reduction in quality or performance. I did have to lower the Gain on the dedicated sound board channels since the PylePro mics are very sensitive (they come with built-in Gain?) -- an easy adjustment on my part. We have not experienced any dropped signals. I highly recommend trying this series.

Great product for me
This is a very good product for the money, you get what you pay for. We got this for church service and it does a very good job for sound. I have found that the best quality is to use a 3 prong cord to plug into the Mic base and into the sound board instead of the short single prong cord that comes with it. You can buy the cord on Amazon for about $6. The sound with the 3 prong cord is very clear, crisp and loud, in comparison to the cord you get with it. Also, it may be better to get a little better head mic, but before you do that check out what comes with it, the Mic that comes with it seems to do a good job, it really depends on the person hearing it. So far I like the Mic that came with it. I have been a sound man for several years in church and I have no complaints about the Pyle pro. So if you're looking for a decent Mic without breaking the bank, then get the Pyle pro and the 3 prong cord at the same time. The sound base takes the male end and most sound boards take the female end. I have the Pyle pro in my own personal recording studio and the Tascam900mkll for recording CDs and the quality is superb. My wife and I both teach classes and use the setup I mentioned for making CDs to send our correspondence students for the lectures. I can only speak for my wife and I and we are both very pleased with the Pyle pro system for what we need it for. It may be totally different for you, all I can say is try it out and if you like it, then great and if not then exchange it or get you're money back.

Dual Wireless Headset System Great for Church Speaking Applications
We use this set in church for the speaking parts of our pastors. We do not use the mics that came with this set, they are junk. But we purchased 2 of the Pyle-Pro PMHM2 Omni-directional Head Worn Microphones (3.5mm / 1/4'') to use for this set. With those mics and this system, it is a phenomenal system for the price. This system is comparable to the Shure systems. A dual receiver will run you about $250 and the transmitters are an extra $150 each. Throw in the Countryman mic for around $500 each and you've spent about two grand on a good wireless system for two people. Here, you spend $100 for the system, chuck the worthless mics that come with it in the trash, buy two of the better Pyle-Pro mics mentioned above for $25, and for $125 dollars you have yourself a wireless system that works fine for speaking in church. Would the Shure and Countryman work better? I don't know, because I didn't spend the $2,000. But I can tell you that for $125 you can get a working system that does the job well. For full disclosure there are some issues with gain levels between the transmitters (one seems hotter than the other) but there is a gain adjustment on the back of the receiver to deal with that. Again the issue is price. Can't beat this system for the price, in my opinion.

Great deal for the price, good but not professional grade construction
I bought this set for use with my small to mid size church's PA system. I found them easy to set up, reliable, and the sound quality to be very good (we have only used the lapel mics so far). The batteries than came with them did not last very long, but so far the alkaline replacements have held up for a few weeks now of a full hour every Sunday. There are individual gain controls on the receiver, plus an adjustment in the transmitter behind the battery door for initial setup adjustment (I did not need to change it). The transmitter's power switch is 'muted' in its middle position and it is possible to accidentally go too far and turn it all the way off. But, I have not noted any noise turning it back on. Sensitivity is very good, and the mic connector does screw into the transmitter making it risk free for dumping it into your pocket. The wires on the mics are a little on the stiff side and had a pretty good memory of the bends from being folded up in the packaging.I did not see it in the description, but a 1/4" cable is supplied for connection to an amp. As noted above batteries were also included, but they are cheapo dry cells that are really only good for initial setup and first use. Good if you forgot to buy some and need to get it working. In terms of range, they worked well even when about 60 or 70 feet away and through 2 walls. I have not tried to walk away until they stop working, but they are more than adequate for our normal 20-30 feet of our use and I have not experienced any interference or drop outs.Construction of the receiver base is on a par with an inexpensive consumer electronics device, like a low end wifi router. It is just fine but definitely not a professional unit that would take getting banged around. If you will be breaking down your setup every night and throwing it in the back of your car, invest in a padded hard shell carry case.Overall, a big thumbs up.

Need to experiment more
Tried the headset and the lapel microphones. The lapel microphone was difficult to get close enough to my mouth for good volume. The headset microphone worked okay, but the wireless versions created a hum in the speaker system. Will have to experiment more. We used the handheld microphone for the first club event using the PPHP1049KT speaker system..
