Great product!
Had a dead battery today and got to use this tool. It worked great! Easy to use. Easy to store vs the old jumper cables. Seems very well made. Very portable too. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this product.

NOCO Boost Plus GB40
The NOCO Boost Plus GB40 is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Now, three more members of my family have one. I purchased one for my motorcycle since sometimes I don’t ride for a while due to travel or weather. This gives me peace of mind knowing I can start the motorcycle no matter what. I once had to use it when commuting from work because I didn’t notice I had left the flashlights on all day. Eventually, I ended up getting a GENIUS5, also from NOCO, to keep my battery charged. Since then, I haven’t used the GB40, but I still keep it in my pannier, charged just in case.I was so happy with the GB40 that I recommended it to a family member. They got it and, fortunately, didn’t need to use it. Then, on a recent trip to visit them, one of their cars had been parked for a couple of days with some lights turned on. The battery was completely dead, showing less than a Volt on a multimeter. Of course, the NOCO starter didn’t recognize the battery as it was too low. We used the boost mode and were able to start the car with no issues. My family was so happy with the result that they bought two more to have one in each car. What I like:It has safety checks to prevent sparks, shorts, and reverse polarity (this also detects the voltage on the battery, which means if the battery has very low charge, it will fail to start in the normal mode). The boost mode disables all safety checks and works similarly to using cables from one car to another. This is a bit risky and you don’t want to use it often, but when you need it, it’s a relief to have. The cables are short and seem of good quality. The crocodile clamps have a firm grip without damaging battery connectors. It’s not bulky; I keep mine in one of the motorcycle panniers and it doesn’t take up much space. I probably should have bought the GB20, which also has the boost mode but is cheaper, and for a motorcycle would be more than enough. However, I vaguely remember it was not available when I got mine. I don’t regret it, though, as the GB40 can start a motorcycle (even a car) several times before needing to be charged again. You can use it as a lamp or emergency light, and also as a power bank for your phone or any other small device. What I don’t like:Storing it in the provided bag works but feels a bit messy. Other models, such as the GB70, can accommodate the clamps on the starter, which seems much cleaner. There is a case you can buy, but that will consume space, which, in my case using a motorcycle, is not much of an option. The boost mode is not really a boost, just a safety-disabled mode. I don’t like when companies use misleading names just to have a selling point.About the specs:I have no way to verify the claimed specs in the description, such as the 1000 Amps of discharge, but from a user’s perspective, it works with cars and motorcycles with no issues, even with flat dead batteries. In conclusion, I think this is a must-have. Hopefully, you don’t need to use it, but like insurance, you’ll be really happy to have it if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need it.

Worked Perfectly on My 2009 Ford F-150 STX V8
Using this jump starter is simple: connect the clamps to your battery, red to positive and black to negative, then press the power button. Within seconds, your car is ready to start without needing another vehicle. I have already used it twice on my 2009 Ford F-150 STX V8, and it had no issues with the size of the truck. The unit is compact, charges easily, and gives real peace of mind knowing it is there when I need it. A very useful tool to keep in the vehicle for emergencies.

Works As Advertised - Ultra Lightweight, Portable & a Total Lifesaver
What I Liked:- Works as advertised.- CompactWhat Could Be Improved:- The drawstring dust bag it comes in cinches closed but does not have anything to keep it closed unless you try to tie it in a knot, which is awkward and time consuming to undo. It would be ideal if it had some type of mechanism to clamp it shut (like one of those plastic clamps that you pinch and can slide the string through to open or secure shut).- Instructions were not at all useful. It has one manual but it's in a bunch of different languages and only talks about how to store it properly. I was unable to find any instructions on how to hook it up to the car battery and thus had to rely on YouTube tutorials.First Impressions:- It was well packaged- Was not happy to find there was no "how to use" instructions.Final Thoughts:This has been a lifesaver. My previous portable car battery charger was heavy and bulky and after years had stopped holding a charge, so I was stoked when I found this which is ultra light and portable. My car battery was on its last leg and I got it to stretch an extra four months before having to replace it. Within that timeframe, I had purchased this because I needed a backup in case I couldn't start my vehicle and needed a jump. I used it about a dozen times - Two or three times when I first purchased it, and about half a dozen times or so times four months later when the battery was pretty much a goner. I charged it twice, and was able to jump my vehicle a couple of times after each charge. Not sure how many times it can jump a battery on one charge - instructions didn't specify - but I didn't want to find out the hard way so I made sure to charge it after every 2-3 jumps.

Works great
So far so good. Car battery was completely dead and used the manual over charge button and it fired right up. Wish the cable cords were 6” longer. That is why the 4 star review not a 5 starGreat quality.

Every person should have one of these
Works great! Charged quickly and easily jumped my very very dead car battery. this is a lithium battery though so if you live in a hit climate take it inside with you do not store in your car.As someone who lives alone this was a life saver when I woke up one morning and my battery for my car was super dead and there wasn't any friends or family who were close enough to drive over real quick and jump my car. (even though I had friends offer they live like an hour away) I was able to get this delivered same day charged up and my car jumped super quick. My mother also has one that she takes with her when she travels and it is very nicely compact.
