Worked as advertised
Called the manufacturer of my wind vane to buy this mount and the very nice lady sent me to Amazon instead where I could get the same mount in two days instead of two weeks and save $50 to boot. Nice!

Didn't fit
This does NOT fit the weathervanes being sold on Amazon. The diameter is barely 7/16. The bracket cannot be angled down to attach to a 3/4" board

crumbled over time
I bought in 2018 - saw my weather vane laying on roof yesterday, went to check it out and found the mount had crumbled apart like it was pot metal.
