Can this be attached to a tripod?

Yes. If you use a go pro type tripod mount. Or I used it the other day with a generic smartphone mount. Where there’s a will there’s a way!

I've had the USB plugged in for 30min and the light still wont switch on?

1. Has it ever worked ? (Confidence check) Check the back of the cube to see that charging is registering (you can disconnect the USB and test by pressing and holding the blue power button on LHS). 2. If this isn’t working you either have no power from the USB port you are using or (sadly) you have a non-working cube. 3. Try a charging plug separately to see if that works for the cube. 4. (NB: once charged, the cube should hold its power when switched off)

Is there any way I can buy the suction cup mount separately? Mine has broken, and looking for a replacement

Look at camera mounts & check the size of screw thread (before ordering & to avoid disappointment ! ) I use a standard camera tripod as an alternative mount.

i have a macbook pro and concerned that the suction cup will not be sufficient?

I use mine attached to the reverse of my iMac; the surface is matt silver and is curved. if your macbook lid is flat then it should adhere well - note that the suction cup includes a sticky disk that helps adhesion, and a lever operates a cam to ensure that initial suction is good. However in my case as I'm using it (them, actually - I have 2 identical lights) on a desktop unit they are only removed infrequently, so I can't really comment on whether they'll tolerate repeated fitting and removal. I've never had one drop off.
