Would you believe I'm complaining that it's TOO WARM! *updated mid-Feb 2021*
*I've rescinded my original review (which was a very positive review!) after a month of wearing this coat, because I now have a better appreciation for this coat, and what I can and can not do while wearing it.After having worn this coat on a wide variety of outings & activities, I feel I have a better appreciation for this coat. I had originally purchased this coat primarily to wear while riding my fat bike in the winter/snow. After several rides resulting in my peeling off layers from getting too warm, I ultimately tried wearing just a simple short sleeve t-shirt under this coat, while riding ~5-10mph in 12°F temperatures, and STILL had to take it off and put something lighter on! It was THAT WARM! So maybe that's too vigorous of an activity to wear such a coat....Then I started wearing it the few times I've had to shovel snow and use my snow blower. Shoveling snow is obviously a physical activity, and I once again overheated with just a short sleeve polyester t-shirt on underneath the coat. But when I found myself getting too warm while merely comfortably strolling behind my self-propelled snow blower? Seriously?I never once thought I'd be complaining about a coat being "too warm"! See, I live in a state where the temps have easily been in the single digits this winter, and a handful or -0°F nights, and I've been in need of a warmer coat for longer outings in the winter. But as much as I truly like this coat, the only time I feel that "I" can feasibly wear it is when I go outside first thing in the morning to warm up my car or other very casual/lazy activities where I'm not really doing anything physical, at all! I'm thinking this coat would be excellent on snowmobiles/quads in the winter, as you'd have that airflow from moving quickly, perhaps even downhill skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, hunting (under your orange vest or whatnot)... but fat biking through the trails, shoveling snow in the driveway, walking behind a snow blower... those things, "for me", this coat was simply too warm!Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely LOVE this coat! I think it's outright insane how warm I've been in this thing, and will do my best to keep it in tact for as long as humanly possible! But I'm also going to look for a milder coat to wear for my more vigorous activities... something with ventilation under the armpits and across the mid-upper back... like the old Gore-Tex jacket I had ~20 years ago in the Marines. (Extremely wind & water resistant, had zippers under each armpit to let those breath, and I think that one also had a small flap across the back with another zipper or velcro there). If Wantdo did that to a jacket like this... added zippers to the underarms at least, they'd have a phenomenal cold-weather active wear coat!(Oh, yes, I even let my S.O. wear my coat just to make sure I wasn't crazy... after all, she's always complaining that she's too cold, no matter what she's wearing.... Well, it should go without saying that I had to "make a deal" with her before she'd give it back to me!)I don't remember if I looked up to see what this coat was rated at, as in, what temperatures it's said to be good for, and there's a chance "I" may be biologically out of whack... but I did wear this on several sub-zero mornings without getting so much as a chill.

Fits a bit small. Other than that it's great.
Fits small, I bought the Large and I usually wear a 40 short, typically get away with a medium-sized jacket. It's about 3/4" shorter than my old ski jacket, but still below my thumb at the bottom hem line, so that's OK because it makes me look taller. I might not be able to wear a thick sweater under it, oh-well: I hardly ever do that any more (if it's that cold, I'm not skiing.) Other than that it's excellent: high-quality material, great features, zippers on most pockets, soft material around collar, zip-off hood, snow skirt, wrist collars, fairly waterproof, cyan blue colour is great.

Nice jacket!
This fit my son well and worked really well on the slopes (he's a snow boarder).

Great buy
Great jacket for the money. The only problem was the hood did not have enough velcro to keep aroundyour kneck. The little velcro that came with the jacket was no match for the wind. It would never hold. As you can see, when I got home, I added enough velcro, and now it stays firm around my kneck.

HONEST AND UNBIASED REVIEW!!!!
So i am an Avid Fisherman and i've always just layered clothing in the winter months. I'm in South Carolina so this review is based on my climate with isn't nearly as cold/snowy as other areas. Anyway, when I do fish in the winter months it is typically around 35 degrees or so when i go in the mornings. I would always just layer clothing but i have always bought top brand clothing (North Face, Patagonia, Mtn Hardwear, etc) so enough layers of those and you can stay warm and dry. So i am at the point where i can afford a NICE fishing coat and i was looking at the AFTCO Hydronaut. I read review after review and just before pulling the trigger on that $250 jacket i decided to read reviews on some of the other jackets out there. I actually found an article that listed the top 10 fishing jackets and this jacket was on the list ahead of the AFTCO. So i went on Amazon and checked it out. For the price difference and Amazons incredibly easy return system i decided what the heck, if it's a cheap jacket i'll return it easily and all is well and good. So this jacket arrives and i'm eager to check it out. Right out of the box i am skeptical but excited because this appears to be very nice. So i get it out and slap that bad boy on..... WhooooooooWeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Lemme tell ya, i've spent $300 on nice jackets and this bad boy felt like i just slipped into a Lamborghini (sp). I am not joking!! As you can see, it was slightly big on me but the adjustable draw strings helped with that. Plus, even though it looks a bit bulky on the outside it doesn't feel bulky on you. One of the biggest complaints i saw on here were the zippers and stitching. The zippers look to be of equal or better quality than i have on any other jacket. The stitching all looked fine. Most of all this thing just felt great!! I have worn it out skeet shooting in 40 degree weather and it was warm on me. I will say that i wouldn't trust it to stand in a downright downpour for hours on end but i do feel like it will keep you dry for a while. For this cost point, this jacket is WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. Those negative reviewers either expect a $800 arctic coat or had a defect (that does happen). I am 5'11 and weigh 170 lbs. This is a large. Buy it, you'll be glad you did!!!

Stay warm without breaking the bank.
A amazing find. Best 60$ I ever spent on a jacket. I was sweating in 20 degree weather and I was truly impressed at the quality for the low price. I stayed warm riding my ebike at 28mph during the winter.

Waterproof Men's Jacket
Purchased the red one for my husband who already has the blue one and loves it. Fits well, seems to be true to size. Good quality jacket. Would definitely order again once he wears it out, if he ever does. Very satisfied with this jacket.
