Love, love, love it!
This pack is worth every penny! It is very comfortable for either myself or my husband, and easy to adjust back and forth. I need the belt all the way up, and he needs it all the way down. The belt has locking clasps and slides up and down on straps - super easy! It doesn't dig into your rear end like some other packs, and the weight seems to distribute well. The straps are cushy and comfortable, and the whole thing feels very secure. Our daughter is 21 pounds, and it doesn't bother me to carry her in the pack at all. My arms would be very tired if I was carrying her, and my back will get sore much more quickly with the soft front carrier (a Bjorn). As for her comfort, this pack is great! Very soft straps, but very secure. We had a cheaper backpack carrier, and the straps seemed a little flimsy. She could slide to one side or the other, and it didn't seem comfortable. She isn't going anywhere in the Tour, but she isn't squished by the straps. We have been hiking in West Virginia in 90-degree heat, and she hardly gets sweaty at all (we did buy the sun shade, which is a necessary addition and well worth it). It's very easy to get her in and out, and get the pack on and off, even without help. There is an instruction manual online, and it gave specific instructions on how to put the pack on by yourself - very helpful! I HIGHLY recommend this pack. I don't know what the real differences are between this, the 2.0, and the 3.0, but this certainly seems like enough!

Finally found the perfect backpack!
PROS:• Everything is adjustable so you can fit it exactly how you like it.• the mesh backing that rests on your back is one layered so it's very breathable• no possible way for your kid to fall out, it's extremely secure and comfortable for my baby! He loves it!• great storage backpack• there is a handle on the front and back making getting it on and off very safe and comfortable.•high quality materialCONS:• the kickstand doesn't fold in as far as I would like. It's pretty bulky because of that, I've accidently knocked my other kids heads while turning around...This is a great purchase! I bought a different brand initially and had to return it because it was crap, this one is incredible in comparison. I'm glad I went with a company that specializes in outdoor adventure equipment.

Great pack. Well built. Comfortable.
This is one of the cheapest kid carriers we looked at and one of the few we really wanted to spend money on. I'm sure there are advantages of more expensive carriers, but this one suits us well. We do monthly trips to the Red River Gorge area and after 4 months this still looks new. We're fairly careful with it, but still surprised how well it has held up with no signs of wear. I am 6'3" and my wife is 5'3", and it fits me well but it may be just slightly big for her, but I'm always the one carrying it so we haven't had reason to worry too much with getting the settings right for her. It seems other reviewers in the 5'3" range say it fits them so I'm sure if will fit you just fine. It's not overloaded with areas for storage, but it has more than enough to pack all the baby things (toys, diapers, wipes, food, and plenty of water). I tie her sippie to a sling line and use a lockable carabiner to clip it to one of the loops for the rain hood (we don't have the hood) so it swings with enough slack that anytime my daughter needs a drink I can hand it to her without even breaking stride. It's really comfortable for our daughter. The snaps are all engineered to prevent the chance of pinching and all of the straps have padding between the strap and skin. She has a lot of mobility (she likes to bounce in the pack), but is completely restrained just like she's in her carseat. She gets a little warm on warm days and I'll have sweat marks on my back where the bag sits, but the mesh lining does allow enough ventilation to be noticeable. She's big for her age (16 months now), but has plenty of room to grow. Make sure you take some time the night before you use it to get it fit right on your back. There are a lot of things to adjust the first time you wear it. For our daughter, though, we probably didn't need to try it out the night before because she pretty much fell right into it and it fit her perfectly. We didn't try any of the more expensive carriers, but we are glad we went didn't go with the $300+ types since this one suits our purposes perfectly.

Not so good
I purchased this for me and my husband to use hiking this summer...immediately upon trying it on it was not comfortable for me (I am 5'9" and my husband is 6') but especially so for my husband...the lower bar dug into him. There are no tethers for the child's feet so they just hang awkwardly plus no support for her/him if they need to stand up and stretch. We returned it immediately and are checking out the other brands.

Wish it had a canopy for shade.
This has been really nice and although it fits my husband's body better, I can also wear it pretty comfortably. I'd be perfect if it had protection from the sun, though.

Not the most comfortable
This was not a comfortable carrier. My girlfriend tested it on one of our hikes (I wore another brand) and she hated it. You cannot adjust the torso length. It sat just fine on her waist (where she prefers carriers), but the back of the waist belt (where there is an adjustment clip) rubbed on her back. By the time the hike was over, she was extremely uncomfortable. If you are a shorter adult, this might work better than it did for me and my friend.

Great product - but be careful about waist and hip size.
I'm 5'8" (173cm) and it fits me perfectly, but only just. My waist is 30cm and the hip belt needs to be closed to its smallest position in order for it to close nicely around my hips. So, I'd beware if you have especially narrow hips or slim waist.Otherwise, it's perfect and although we've only been on a few one-hour walks so far, it's extremely comfortable. I love the auto-releasing stand - it's a great feature and makes it easy to put it on by yourself.I'm really looking forward to getting out for some longer, more challenging mountain hikes with it. The storage space isn't huge, but there's enough space for everything a small child needs for a day-hike.
