Does each top need 1 AAA battery?

No, each spinning top comes with a button battery. The spinning tops are ready to use immediately and do not require a new battery.

Music up? There is no music with these spinning tops. I don’t recommend for Preschool 4yr old. Half broke in the 9 month school year. I paid 24.00 a box.

How do you turn them off

The tops start to light up when they spin. Do not overwind them supervise children when they get them,. Don't wind more than 4 turns to spin with the winders they include. BIG HIT AT PARTYS I WAS PLEASED WITH THIS BOX OF TOPS I BOUGHT ( they stop lighting up when they stop spinning)
