Beautiful! Make sure you have the right tools.
The shell is beautiful! Once you have it installed, it looks great on the controller. Please note that WILL need a Security Torx screwdriver to disassemble the controller and replace the front plate.It is worth noting that you may need to carefully sand the button holes, especially the Menu/Options holes and the A/B/X/Y holes. It took me a little while to sand the chrome plating down enough to allow the buttons to press and depress as freely as they did with the original plate. Since the shell is an original controller shell that has been painted and plated, I had already anticipated needing to sand the holes and therefore don't count this as a negative.

Looks great, just a small modification needed..
Chrome looks great. The only problem I had when installing is the "B" button hole was a little small, so after installation it caused the button to stick. A tiny pencil wrapped in some sand paper opened the hole nicely, then it worked perfectly. 3 stars for the quality, -2 stars for the extra work...

Great, but could be better.
My controller is lookin' pimped out after putting this sweet mama on it. Unfortunately the plate was a little too thick initially. I was unable to move the right analog stick or push down the start, A, and B button when putting it on right away. If you run into this problem you can do what I did. I took a sanding stick and sanded the holes around the problem areas to make them wider. After doing that for a couple minutes I could push the buttons down fine. Like I said, it's a little thick still, and the controllers major structure was compromised a little because it is not the same size as the original base plate. Other than that it looks great. Looks over function I say...

Silver Chrome Controller Top Shell
This shell looks great, and care was taken in its packaging, to ensure it arrived that way. After replacing my original shell with this one, I found that the X and A buttons, on the controller, were stiff and slow to respond. I had to remove the shell and lightly file the inside edge of the holes, that the buttons protrude through. I reassemble the controller and now it both looks and operates great.

As long as you have the tools to put this on your controller it is awesome! It fit perfect, I didnt have to shave or force it on at all perfect fit and easy to install with the right screw driver.

The only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 ...
The only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star review is that it doesn't fit as flush with the controller as the oem faceplate. I initially thought it was because I screwed the screws too tight, but that wasn't it. It still looks clean as hell though!
