F2 ChainBeast, Attach Weight Chains and Resistance Bands to Barbell for EASY Innovative Resistance

I added these to my resistance band bar I bought on Amazon from DASKING and now I have an excellent X3 knockoff (see photo). I highly recommend these. They are super sturdy and make doing resistance band work with a bar quick and easy.If you want to replace the whole X3 system, get a Thirteen Chefs Large Cutting Board - 18" x 12" x .5" and attach 4 Extra Large Rectangle Rectangular Rubber Feet Bumpers to one side for the footplate (see photo).Then get yourself a bundle of Serious Steel 41" and 32" bands.You're good to go!

The quality is good. The carbiners are sketchy to me for any serious weight and they are small, but I have used them with bands with great success. The concept of being inside the smith machine is good, but my machine needs to rotate the bar to disengage the stops. With weight hanging on the bar, it makes that very difficult. There is nothing wrong with these, but understand your equipment and application before buying is all.

Excellent quality of materials. If you attach it to a 27mm deadlift bar as I did then the threaded portion of the F2 Eye Bolt is just a little to short to use the locking nut; it doesn’t protrude far enough into the main body of the collar to keep the Basic Bar Guard in place. That said, I used it without any of the extra nuts or washers then used bands up to 185 pounds and neither collar moved at all, not even a tiny bit of twisting. When I removed the collars the knurling was not damaged and you could not tell where they had been on the bar. I highly recommend this product for use with bands.

There's definitely some room for improvement on these. First off, the carabiners that came with seem cheap and not very trustworthy. I changed them out with some of my own. Also, a rubber grip of some sort inside the cosmos would be spectacular. I haven't had any problems since using it, but if you have anything painted that is going on, it wouldn't be a bad idea to put something in between. It's an alright product, but for the money it costs, it could definitely be better.

I was really disappointed with the chain attach package that I recently purchased. It was advertised to fit a 2 inch barbell, but when I tried to attach it, it wasn't even close to fitting properly. Despite the nice machining and construction of the package, it's completely worthless if it doesn't fit as advertised. I wasted a lot of time and effort trying to make it work, but ultimately had to give up and look for another solution. It's frustrating when a product is marketed to meet a certain need, but then doesn't deliver on that promise. I would not recommend this chain attach package to anyone looking for a reliable and accurate fit for their standard 2 inch barbell. You're better off just draping it over the top, or getting a hook.

Combined these with my various length bars, and rtConnectors so I can combine Resistance bands, tubes, and weights.
