Yes. There's 2 pockets 1 on the left and right between the rib and hip area.

I am 5'1 160, would a Large be good? I will be using whenever I go to belize

A large would probably be too long. What about a Med?

Yes it is. I just measured from the neck down to the bottom and it's 48". It's lightweight, soft flexible vinyl (PVC) but still sturdy.
