Kalorik Smart Air Fryer, FT 42139 BK, Healthy Cooking Dual Layer Rack, Black

I am very pleased to write this Review for 2 reasons: First, Although I heard from my daughter that her Kalorik Air Fryer is a major hit with my granddaughters and son-in-law, I was still skeptical - However, after my Kalorik Air Fryer arrived yesterday I quickly learned why my family is so pleased. I fried wings without batter and words do not adequately describe the flavor - each wing had a crispy outside and moist/tender inside and clean-up was effortless. Approximately a month ago I tried the so called “preferred” Phillips Air Fryer and returned it after one batch of wings because they were not crispy. Second: Prior to delivery, I emailed Haus, the seller because I misunderstood the delivery time. The Haus Representative was very considerate and supportive. Haus clearly views Customer Service as a high priority. Thanks Amazon & Haus for the EXCELLENT Kalorik Air Fryer.

When I saw it was dual layer, I expected to be able to use a shelf of some kind. The basket is deep enough to cook 2-3 servings of one item but not deep enough to layer items and expect them to cook evenly. This was a disappointment to me. Overall, it functions as expected and is very easy to clean. I did buy a silicone mat to protect my counter while using it as there have been mixed results on counter damage. Otherwise quite basic and average

I love this airfryer. I can make healthy and tasty meals with very little fuss and mess. It cleans up very quickly and doesn't take up as much counter space as I thought it would.

Air Fryer....Nope, it's a mini convection oven. It does not give that fried texture is claimed to do. Not worth the price.

I used this fryer for the first time two nights ago to make french fries and a hamburger. It worked really great and I thought I was going to love it. However, the next day I was aching all over, no energy and dizzyish. I thought I was getting the flu until I used it again last night and realized that the machine was off gassing something awful. I opened all my windows and doors, even though it was cold outside, and today is somewhat better. I hope I haven't been permanently damaged by this thing..... do not buy it!!!

Only used fryer once since I purchased it. To cook chicken wings and French fries. French fries were good. Chicken had to cook longer than recommended in cook book. Was not brown enough for me.

Love love love my air fryer. So far have made breaded fish filets, jalapeno poppers, chicken wings, and French fries. Everything came out perfectly crispy with less grease than I expected. Just wish the fry basket was larger. Other than that, better than what I was expecting.
