Great well-made, heavy duty backpack for hunting
bought this for my grandson for Christmas last year. It’s one he wanted for a long time and he was very excited about it. The bag is well-made very sturdy and can put a lot on it for hunting. And my son and grandson Hunt a lot.

Fantastic pack for the backwoods
Bought this pack to use as a day bag for a pack trip in Washington and it was awesome. The Orange rain cover worked perfectly, the hydration bladder I had fit without issue and there was ample room to carry extra items, rain gear, etc. The smaller front pocket was fantastic for keeping small things handy and the side pockets on the waist belts were great for carrying a range finder in one, plus as a bonus it's removable so I was able to use the main pack as my carry on bag. the rifle sling on the back will hold a fully scoped Smith and Wesson M&P 10 without a wobble or concern that the rifle was not secure. Stood up well to brush rubbing against it and me falling on it as I tried to get off a horse.

Awesome Backpack!
This backpack is awesome! It is comfortable with adjustable straps at the shoulder and hips. There are two large zippered compartments that have plenty of room for binocs, knives, ammunition, a change of clothes, etc. There are two little zippered compartments on the hip belts that are nice for easy access items. The ability to strap down your bow or gun or extra gear is a huge plus and there is a bonus hunter orange rain cover that stows in a compartment on the bottom of the pack. Very good construction and half the price of a comparable Badlands pack. Very pleased!

Overall good pack.
This is a well-made pack. The straps and belt are are overbuilt, which adds to the bulk but makes it very comfortable to carry. Lots of inside organizer pockets in the rear compartment and the accessory compartments on each side of the waist belt are handy. However, there are a few negatives: If you watch the video, it shows that the pack is designed to carry a bow or a rifle. I could not rig it to carry a rifle securely with adding a lot cord to the rigging. The waistbelt buckle broke somehow the second day I used it. It is still usable (and replaceable), but half of the clip just snapped off. I would recommend that the rain cover be camouflaged rather than international orange - reversible would be even better.

Really good for the money
I'm using this backpack for 2 months now for hunting. It's a little bit on the heavy side, but I really like the look and the versatility of this pack. Mostly I'm stalk hunting small game, putting the squirrels and rabbits in a plastic bag in the main compartment, still have space for the 2L water bladder and plenty of things. In the smaller compartment I can organize my license, tools, knives, gloves, sharpeners, etc. In the left waist belt pocket I have my caller, in the right the extra ammo.On tree stand deer hunting I use the "shelf" a lot.I really like this backpack, recommending for everyone!

Great Bag
I was looking for a good, rifle/bow/and shot gun carrying bag for all the different types of hunting I do. This bag has the perfect features to accommodate all of them. The design is durable and material feels like quality. The camp pattern works great for me, I hunt in Missouri primarily and it blends in well. There is plenty of room for my Outdoor edge knife set, all my game calls, a couple of good books, and a change of clothes, with plenty of room to spare. The hydration output was an important feature to me. Just having a hose to suck on rather than clanking around a noisy water bottle is great. it does not come with the water bladder, but they are pretty inexpensive. The rain cover worked really well for me. We had a pretty good rain one day while I was out, everything stayed dry.Overall this has been a great pack for me, I recommend it to anyoneSuper fast shipping with Amazon Prime, got it two days after I ordered it.

Great organizational compartments! Rugged - Looks cool!
I've only used it once, but I am very happy with it so far. I'll update my review, if things go awry. I love the flip down compartment tray, where I can lay my binoculars, range finder, game calls, and any other small gear that I have so I can access it quickly and without the risk of it falling off. I bought this as a replacement for a competitor's backpack that I got as a birthday gift, and I'm glad I made the upgrade. Truth be told, this one was on sale at a great price, so I upgraded and saved money in the process. Gotta love that!! I definitely recommend this backpack. I'm primarily a deer hunter in PA, but I think it would hold up to some more challenging hunts if need be. Oh, I also discovered the rain cover, which is tucked underneath in a top secret zippered pouch. The woman at Sherper's Inc. coached me through the process of finding the secret pocket.

Overall comfort and design is good, but a few weaknesses
I like the overall design of the back pack. Lots of storage space and webbing for attaching and carrying gear. Padding and weigh t are comfortable. Chest strap design is flawed. Adjusting straps should be more permanently mounted. The slip on collar comes off easily and each time weakens. Finally ripped the nylon on the cord. Less than 4 months in. Fix this flaw and it's a 5 star back pack.
