8gb Lock Jewelry USB Flash Memory Drive Necklace

I bought this because I thought it would be fun to be able to wear my flashdrive (since I carry it with me everywhere anyway). It’s cute, and definitely a conversation piece, but it is very heavy and spends 99% of its time in my bag with my original flashdrive because it just gets uncomfortable after a while. It also runs very slow, taking twice the amount of time to transfer data on and off of it than my original one.All in all, it’s a fun piece. I just wish it was smaller and a bit faster.

I bought these as Christmas stocking stuffers for my 5 daughters aging in ranges from 23 to 12. It was awesome to be able to find something that I could buy for all them, since their age range varies so much. They are all either in school with projects due or simply like to download and save personal information from the computer. They are functional and a very different peice of jewelry that is unique and often times a conversation and compliment envoking peice. Especially, when they are witnessed utilizing it as it was intended.

Love this USB flash drive necklace! It's very pretty, cute enough just to wear for show as a necklace, with nice crystals all around it. It's not small and petite, it's chunky and substantial... which I actually liked. Again, a great piece of jewelry and a great flash drive! No problems for my laptop to recognize it. The USB part is attached to the U part of the lock, so gravity pulls in the USB when you wear it. Would make an awesome gift, too! Came in a pretty silver metal container.3/29/13... Just wanted to add, if your USB ports are very close together you will not be able to plug in another device while this is plugged in. Just noticed this recently, but might not be a problem for you, but thought I'd add this comment.

This is pretty but very heavy. Also the flash drive plug doesnt stay recessed. It slides in and out, and is only held in place by gravity. If you are trying to discretely hide that this is a drive, you would be discovered as soon as you set it down. I wish I had bought one of their many other beautiful pieces.

I bought this thinking that it was a small size lock that would look cute for my daughter to wear to school. It is not. It's large and heavy. It's the size of an actual lock. There's no way she would be caught dead wearing this. It does work so I'll just keep it home.

It works and sparkling. However, it can be made smaller. The size is an actual lock size and heavy. If you don't mind, where a sparkling lock on your neck as a USB drive, you got your money worth.

I don't have personal experience with it, but received no complaints, and the person I gifted said she liked it. It does make a nice, quick, and thoughtful gift for teen girls when you need something.

I purchased this as a gift for my 12 year old daughter. She uses them in school and I wanted her to have something cute and girly while still being functional. Being a computer geek myself, I was reluctant at first but the price was irresistable.Received the item before expected. Was very cute. I tested the drive and found no problems. As with any flash drive, time will tell but she has been using it for a while now and still no problems.Packing was satisfactory.
