Very good for inductors.
I needed to hand make some inductors. I can't buy what I need. I had some other wire that was another brand and it was just wound on a spool and not neatly at that. This spool is very neatly wound. It has a nice coating of enamel and is just awesome looking. For the size, it is flexible as it should be. It just feels about right for the size.If you need to wind a transformer, inductor or other magnetic type component, this is a awesome spool of wire to have. While the coating is not needed for crafts, it would be good for that too. Bare wire might be cheaper tho. This will be my go to brand from now on.

Top-Quality Enameled Copper Wire Shines Again
I am very careful about which enameled copper wire I buy. I ensure it is professionally machine-wound on a reel and not hand-wound, as some are. This vendor consistently delivers professional quality. This is my second purchase from them. Today, I received their18 AWG. Previously, I bought their 16 AWG, and it worked great.

It is 1 pound of enameled wire in the gage I ordered.
Appears to be good quality wire, enameling was reasonably easy to remove for connections.

Very good electrical wire
I'll order this to whine some feel landings on a homemade alternator I created the alternator from scratch I'm in a nursing home and they're all amazed how could I do it? Well I prayed a lot and I went to Amazon to buy my parts and they arrived on time, but now I've got to run under fill wires with no iron core. you didn't iron core stator I'm just wanting to fill coils with the wire and put them around extra strong magnets I bought from Amazon the square ones in n 52 rare earth magnets these things I like to never got apart believe me it's the strongest magnet I've ever had be careful if you buy these magnet because they're very dangerous they are n52 rare earth magnets they're not for children or anyone under 21 years old, thank you Amazon for a great product

Looks good, I haven't used it.
Excellent packaging, product was well protected in a sturdy box, inside the box had literature pertaining to wire sizes. Feels heavy enough, bends like high quality copper. The coating looks good to me, it was a selling point that I am not disappointed in. It's one of those things that are too nice to use right away.Update: Purchased a second unit, this time 24 AWG.Same as before, good quality, I have used both for making coils/chokes/baluns/antenna for 852Mhz.
