Superb product. It IS coal black.
Best black colouring I've ever bought. This stuff is intense and BLACK!!! No more gray colour in my icing or ice cream. And you don't need a lot. I probably used way more than I needed to the first time I used it. I will only buy this brand for black food colouring in the future.

Good deep black colour
I used this for black licorice and it was excellent for colour and this might be uncalled for to say but your stool will show you just how much colour is involved lol. Unfortunately the bottle comes in a huge size. This bottle will last forever!
