I've been buying Billy55 and that's not changing anytime soon. I've tried all of the flavors and the green tea menthol is by far the best in my opinion. It feels like a real cigarette. I wasn't even a menthol smoker before but I really enjoy these. I was a very heavy smoker before. I didn't think I would ever be able to quit. Truth is, I wouldn't have if it weren't for my Billy's. Now that it is not a need. I smoke when I WANT to. Not because nicotine tells me to. I enjoyed smoking before and that hasn't changed. Of course it doesn't smell beautiful but when someone complains, I wish they could smell themselves and their stinky smoke. At least these don't linger! I am no longer addicted to nicotine!!! If you actually want to break your nicotine addiction, this is the best way to start.So I wanted to add an edit. When I posted this, I had only been tobacco free for 3 months. Now here it is, 8 months and 3 days. I never thought I would be here... NEVER. After almost every 20 years of smoking. I am Nicotine free. I cannot express enough gratitude. All I can say is, thank you Billy55 for saving my life. For giving me back my independence. I don't know if you guys read these reviews but I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am. You don't even know me, but I love you lolI'm no longer an addict!!!

These are not menthol, not even close.

I bought these in the menthol flavor eventhough I didn't smoke a menthol in my regular cigarette. After 2 of these it's as if they were my regular cigarette! Trying to quit is hard! With these it took me a month to smoke a whole carton. So although there's no nicotine, there is tar but if you only smoke 10 packs a month compared to the 30 packs of the regular, I say thats a big improvement!Edit: It's getting close to the fall sinus season, you know, where you wake up in the morning and immediately have that cigarette smell already in your sinuses? With Billy 55 you don't have that. It's awesome to not have the cigarette smell on your clothes and body! I've also noticed the Billy 55 doesn't control me like nicotine cigarettes did. I smoke when I want to not because nicotine tells me too. I have yet had to pause a TV show or stop doing something to smoke. It's liberating!

Update to my original review: The first couple of cartons I purchased were great..no issues. But the last two I've purchased are not the same quality. It's like the tea leaves are packed full and tight near the filter, but very loose throughout the rest of the cigarette which in turn is just burning paper for half a smoke. I hope they fix the issue soon. I really appreciated the product prior to this issue.I've smoked for 35 years. Two weeks ago I stopped 'cold turkey'. Within a few days I was bouncing off the walls and ready to run to the store for a pack of Marlboro. But fortunately, a friend told me about Billy 55 so I ordered a carton (menthol flavored). I'm finally in control again!!!! When a nicotine craving hits me...I have my Billy 55 Green Tea smoke. It relaxes me and gets me through my nicotine withdrawal for the next couple hours. I now have the confidence and will power to stop smoking nicotine cigarettes.The flavor of the Billy 55 is subtle (for me) and I enjoy it. It's not addictive.My only call out is the leaves burn differently and drop hot ash. You have to be really careful especially when flicking the cigarette. Other than that, absolutely love the product, price, packaging, and the fact these actually work!! Thank you!!

I loved this product when I started using them. I changed to this product because the taste, slower burning and smell was superior to what I had used before. That was true before the last two orders. Quality seems to be slipping as the tea leaves must be stale as they often fall out of the stick. If the tea leaves remain in the stick, they burn so fast that you burn something before you know it. I recently wrote an email to the company about the lack of quality. I hope they return to their original way of producing.

I purchased these cigarettes three years ago after two failed attempts with using them to quit, and needless to say, the third time was the charm. I have not smoked a cigarette since then and I never will again. Although, even after I finally stopped smoking tobacco cigs, I still enjoyed having these once in a while just to chill out and relax, and they were so good I found myself having two in a row sometimes. :-)The menthol is smooth and flavorful, and these cigs can relax you. But be sure to pack them down VERY well, since embers will fly off if you do not... I burned a hole in my pajamas one morning after opening a fresh pack.

Safety.. unsafe!!

too much dead smoke, makes me cough every time I had "JUST" one and ended up with a raspy throat. Had to buy a carton minimum, smoked 3 single cigarettes from first pack, awful! The remainder of the CARTON headed to the trash. DEFINITLY NOT an alternative to tobacco and possibly MORE detrimental to your health. My opinion, a cup of hot green tea is wonderful, but don't smoke the stuff, it will hurt you.....
